Awesome movie, one of the best movies I have seen all year! Made me laugh, and cry. My 5yr. old asked me after the movies was over can we come back and see it again. Great movies for the whole family to see!

Great movie for the WHOLE FAMILY!!!

I totally loved this movie!! Took my 11 yr. old and 7 yr. old grandsons... they both loved it too!! It's a feel good movie about people who really CARE about one another... and how the teachers will do ANYTHING to help their students out, I give it 5 *****!! Kevin James was terrific.

Great family movie

What a pleasant surprise! A comedy with a great message! We took 6 kids, aged 7-16 and they all loved it! We love Kevin James and were pleased to see a clean movie with hilarious moments, but a very inspirational message to make it all the better! Go!

BEST MOVIE EVER

I just got back from the theater and oh my god, That move was AMAZING!! My best friend and I were so into it and were laughing the whole time. You just cant help but get into it! GO SEE THIS AMAZING MOVIE!!!! This movie is for all ages!

I loved this movie! I went by myself to see it because my poopie family wouldn't go. Their loss. I am a huge Kevin James fan. His agility in some of the stunts he does always amazes me for a bigger guy. He looks so good with his new slimmer self. It looked to me that he had to learn a few skills for this film. I will admit I had to look away during some of the fighting scenes. Loved the messages most of all. Please go see this movie, even if you have to go solo!

Awesome movie!!!

I loved this movie. The acting was great! The storyline really kept you interested. I loved that there was alot of laughs, but some tugs at the heartstrings. Plus all the action. Couldn't have asked for better in this movie. I give it five stars *****

Great Family Movie

I went with my 15 yr old daughter. We both loved the movie, probably for different reasons. It was great to share a movie with no swearing, sex, or much violence. Nothing got blown up! A real feel good movie, teaching an important point: don't give up, inspire someone, do things for the right reasons. Go see it with your teen! (or drop them off.)

Really funny movie. We all liked it husband and 12 year old son also enjoyed it. There were alot of good scenes, that had me laughing out loud longer than ususal. I think everyone of the actors and actresses blended well together. There were a few predictable scenes. Dont want to give away anything. But Kevin James is so funny. I highly recommend seeing it!

Surprisingly Good!

I attended Here Comes the Boom with some anticipation. I personally enjoy more cerebral movies, but a friend of my wife and me was back to the states after years in Africa and just wanted to see a movie, and she choose this one (we are all three, ah, beyond mid-life in age).
The short review is that I haven't laughed so much through a movie in memory. It was humorous without being slapstick, and had some great "one liners" that kept you engaged. Henry Winkler was a pleasant surprise, being willing to portray as non-cool, non-Fonzie a role as possible. This isn't Citizen Kane, but is what a comedy should be. And a "G" rating? You really could take the kids to this, as I may my grandsons (6 and 8) who would love the combination and school humor and the highly exciting (but not "bloody") fight scenes. I'm surprised to say it, but "two thumbs up".

Awesome movie! Took my 9 year old son and two of his friends, we all laughed a lot. Being a sap, I even teared up a few times! I highly recommend it. It's a feel good movie with a good story!

Loved this movie. Great acting and cinematography. A wonderful "feel good" kind of film that makes you cheer for the hero and laugh at his humor. Finally, a movie that makes you enjoy the theaters all over again!

A GOOD good movie!

You know how when someone tries to fill the good family movie genre how the movie can kind of turn out Cheesy ro lame. "here comes the BOOM" isn't that movie. This season the other movies we've been to are flight..(walked out in the first 5 minutes) and "skyfall 007" which by the end of the movie you just kindof said... Huh!
"Here comes the Boom" was a good GOOD movie. It's great for the whole family. some parts were predictable, but not disappointing. I love the characters... great moral to the story and is definitely going to be added to our home collection.

Here Comes The Boom

This movie is a "must see"! Kevin James was amazing! Changing "attitudes" in such a smooth way and gives the audience the momentum for an "expected" ending but in an "unexpected" direction. The screenplay was well written and kudos to Henry Winkler for the quirky but lovable music teacher. A definite keeper! The fellow who played Nikko was also terrific in the role. For the entire family (except really little kids...age 7 and below...the fighting is a little graphic).
