Wasn't sure I wanted to see this movie but I love Kevin James so I went. Am really glad as it was a great movie! Kevin James is so good at physical comedy and there was a lot of that in this movie. Plus, it had a really good story line. I laughed so much. He is such a good actor. It did not have terrible language like a lot of comedies today so I think kids would like it too. Go see it!

Here Comes The Boom Will Not Disappoint

.This isn't one of those movies where they show all the good parts in the preview. My boyfriend and I went to see it last night, and he rarely buys dvds. He said as we were leaving last night, "I will be buying that when it comes out." That's actually a first I think. Just an all around great movie. The MMA involved in the movie was outstanding as well. Pumped me up for the next UFC fights!

Kevin James at his best

classic Adam Sandler movie. woth every penny although i dont know about it being PG for some MMA violence. i think that this is one of my favorite Kevin James movies of all and i didnt think it could get better after Zookepper. this movie was so funny and thier was no references to anything inopropriate. so overall a good movie.

Go see it!

This was a funny and inspiring movie. I love Kevin James and he was perfect for this part. My husband and 15 year old girl and 12 year old boy all wanted to go see Taken 2, but I already had the tickets for this. They all went in reluctantly, but came out happy to have seen it. They all laughed out loud in several parts. It was a lot of fun.

Good All-Around Show

If you like Kevin, its a great show and if you can take him or leave him, you'll still like this movie. Funny as always and enjoyable.

Good Flick

Generally I refuse to pay what they are asking for a movie without special effects or great cinematic value. Broke that "rule" for Boom to take my son and glad I did. Granted it's not a deep plot by any stretch of the imagination, but if you need a good clean movie to get away from it all for a couple hours it's worth the trip to your area theater.

Feel good movie of the year!

There are not many movies out there where you can take the whole family and enjoy a film without any foul language or nudity these days. Well here ya go! "Here Comes the Boom" is about a teacher who will do everything in his power to raise money for this school. He will go into the ring MMA style just to raise the money. There will be obstacles along the way, and show you that hard work does work out in the end. Kevin James plays a great role and is a feel good movie where anyone can watch it and get emotional. Go see it.

Funny and timely

In a day when people need good role models, this film gives a good morale...sacrificing self in order to help others. Many were laughing at the goofy moments, but everybody cheers when good wins out.

Here Comes The Boom

I knew this movie would be funny since Kevin James is the star, but I didn't know that the story would be so good! They did a great job with this movie my whole family loved it and we can't wait to see it again! They need to make more family friendly movies like this that are funny but also filled with a good story, good message and some action.

Why so serious?

Great film to sit back and enjoy a stream of non stop funny. It not so serious nature makes it enjoyable for all ages. We all know this long shot movie is pure fiction but if you came in for a serious film, this is a strike out. Go Watch!

Here comes the GReat Film!

What a wonderful change. A family movie about MMA. Lol. Pretty good and funny flick. My 8 year old daughter was rolling with laughter...as were me and my wife. A good film about fighting for the right things. Many themes back up/support this throughout the movie: including friendship, heroism, God, and prayer! Check it out. you'll love it. Lots f family-friendly fun even though it's really a comedy at heart. Not too much language. I think (though I wasn't sure because everyone was laughing so hard) there was one instance I thought they used a so-so word, but no drinking, no vulgarity, no sex. enjoyed the fun times. thanks!

Exceeded my expectations!

Kevin James plays a high school biology teacher and ex-wrestler who trains to become a mixed-martial arts fighter in order to raise money because the music program has been cut from the school budget. I loved Kevin James' character in Hitch but he really outdid himself in this one. This movie is a must see for the old and young and there is not a dull moment. I was laughing and crying throughout the whole movie. I will definitely buy this movie when it is released on DVD because it is a keeper!!!

Much Better Than Expected

I ended up at this movie with my 8 year old and was completely unenthusiastic. My expectations were completely exceeded. This ended up being a great love story with a wonderful base line story. Don't miss the movie.
