    Better Than the First

    I liked this G.I. Joe better than the first one. I am a little biased in that Snakes it one of my favorite characters and he plays a major part in the storyline. I also liked Bruce Willis as the calm but offensive military veteran. I laughed at his responses.

    If you need to kill some time, this is a good movie to do it on.

    It was good!

    I thought that the movie was good, but if you are a GI Joe fan would you really want to see it in the theatre, otherwise it can wait until you can buy the DVD.

    WHAT A MESS

    Movie had me wanting to get up and ninja jump over the old couple next to me just to get the hell out of the theater but i didn't and things only got worse . a waste of space on Bruce and Dewayne's filmography.

    For one scene

    There is a fight scene that is clearly taken from Cirque du Soleil's Ka. This is the mountain side scene and it is absolutely brilliant, worth the price of the film. As a whole, not the greatest, but that one scene was top drawer.

    It's a Joke

    When i heard that they was going to come out with another G.I Joe movie i was so happy about it, until i saw the movie what a joke for one thing storm shadow was killed in part 1 there is no way he lived through 2 swords stuck in him and fallen in sub-zero temp water just no way and they killed him off with in the first 15m of the movie you don't kill off the star of the movie, if i would of payed money to see this movie i would of asked for my money back don't wast your time and money in watching this movie it's not worth it. watch one that will keep you wonting for more.

    It moves just like the comic

    It was a good movie. Lots of action and a good story. It is a sequel to 2009 "GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra" and continues the story.

    If you are like me and just need to see an action movie every now and then, this will work. Is it the best movie of the year . . . no . . . is it a good, keep your interest action flick. YES! The Rock is becoming a darn fine actor. The dynamic between Rock and Tatum was great . . too bad . . .

    Wait for DVD release, if that even...

    In this REBOOT, All of the elements that made the 1st release in 2009 great are KIA.
    THE LIST
    Cobra Commander is busted out of prison "which is no longer the Joe controlled carrier, but some very cheap looking hole in the ground" and leaves Destro behind saying "your off the team". Why would he of went to the trouble of using the nanites on him in the 1st movie and enslaving him to his will, then not use him?
    Duke gets wasted in the opening act and The Baroness is MIA, so forget the built up romance and question on if the Joe's will eliminate the mind control nanites Cobra Commander injected her with.
    The general is MIA, Duke's buddy Ripcord is MIA and Duke is now apparently best buddies with Roadblock and his kids.
    Scarlett is MIA, so forget seeing that babe in her tight leather outfit again.
    All this, plus the fact the movie was all action, no real story made it incredibly hard to sit through. I think the only reason I did watch to the end was to see just how bad it really was.

    Was Pretty Good

    We really enjoyed the first one and was looking forward to the development of the story and characters. We were disappointed that none of the "Joes" come back except for Duke and Snake Eyes and the story development centered around the "Cobras". The action was really good, however. Would see it again!

    It was Good

    It does not make sense to me to "Kill" off Duke. Which I really doubt they did...LOL
    Overall, it was entertaining. The Rock is solid as usual!

    it does stink that they did not put in most of the original joes but the movie did rock and it was never really boring.It had action threw the hole movie and the story was great for a new generation of g.i.joes. it was cool and great to see the special effects were great.

    I went to see the movie this past Sunday w/ my daughter and a friend. My daughter gave me a thumbs up on the way out and I thought it was awesome! I love seeing the martial arts between Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. All the action was so much fun to watch!

    Lots of Action

    I didnt go it with high expectations, however it was entertaining and action packed.. Bruce Wilis showing up was a good boost. Good movie for a dad to go with his kids as well. Good vs evil.

    G.I. Joe Retaliation

    The movie was great! There was some things that I didn't agree with, but when movies are made they don't have to be consistent with the cartoon or comic books.

    Awful movie

    We left half way through, and we're action movie junkies ! I guess if you had seen the other GI Joe films, you would know the characters and the GI Joe story line. We didn't so we didn't stay. Disappointed in Bruce Willis -- we love his action films but this was not a good fit. All in all, wait until it appears on Vudu for $3.99.
