Remember Kentucky Fried Movie?

I know, it is not going to win a lot of awards, but it has cult classic written all over it. For me, it took me back to the days of Kentucky Fried Movie. Plenty of shorts, none connected, and completely irreverent. My sons and I laughed all the way through.

Wait for $1 rental

This movie was not worth the price of a movie ticket. Some scenes were funny, but a lot of the funniest scenes were already shown in the redband trailer. I guess the point was to bring out absurdities of our culture, and also to have a silly fun time, but at the end of the movie, I was left feeling like I wasted my time and money. I enjoy raunchy comedies, but this one just didn't really have a point. Wait for a day with nothing else to do and consider renting this.

Ugh.....

First time I've ever left before the end of a movie.....

I have no problem with raunchy movies, but this was just bad. If SNL had no limits, it would be this movie (a collection of 5-10 minute skits). The movie kind of dies down 45-50 minutes in, had it kept moving I would have stayed. Go watch The Last Stand, a much higher quality film (that should tell you something).

I can't believe some the cast signed on for this w/a few exceptions (Johnny Knoxville, of course!). I like most of them, but Emma Stone, for example, is choosing such crappy & stupid roles these days!

Beautiful actors doing outrageous, grotesque, and hillarious things

Although the reviews were overwhelmingly bad, a group of us went to see it anyway and had a great time! All of us laughed like maniacs and enjoyed every minute. Sometimes you just need to wallow in the gutter, and this movie provides such an opportunity. We drank some wine during the movie (highly reccomended) and let the laughter rip! The less you know about the movie before you see it, the better as the shock value is priceless.

mostly annoying, somewhat disturbing, definetely NOT FUNNY

probably the worst movie I have ever seen. I was constatnly wishing that the current skit ends hoping that the next one would be more interesting ... in vain. they try to be funny by being raw and politically incorrect. it didn't work for me. I will for ever picture Hugh Jackman with balls hanging from his face. complete waste of time and money.

The movie is separated into many different stories that are funny but they are all shown in the preview so when you go see it most of the jokes have been told. The first part with Hugh Jackman and Kate Winslet was by far the best but that was because the joke had not already been told.

All the actors where amazing and the jokes where great just wish the red band trailor did not give it away. it is the only thing Valentine's Day got right you saw there were a ton of actors but there best material was not given in the preview.

Just plain AWFUL

i love going to movies and i consider myself very open minded, but this movie was TERRIBLE! there was maybe one funny clip. it is unorganized, chaotic, and a waist of money!!! never been so bored in a movie. save your money please!

Complete waste of time - wish I would have left and gotten a refund

This was a complete waste of my time watching this garbage. I can't believe these actors appeared in this trash film. Even adolescent teens joke less about stereotypes and balls. I actually stopped laughing after the first shock of Hugh Jackman taking off a scarf and having balls on his chin. That was a couple of minutes into the movie. I now know why they did not screen this for the press before opening -- no one in their right mind would waste money to see it if they knew what to expect.

worst movie ever!!!!

Do not see this movie. It's a bunch of short films stuck together that are not funny. Only movie I have wanted to walk out of.

Don't waste your money!

We thought this would be funny because of the outstanding cast, but it was terrible. it wasn't funny simply because it was not a funny script. The idea had potential, but failed. We have seen other Farrelly Brother movies that were hysterical. This is far from it!

Horrible movie....AWFUL!!! I can't believe that many top rated movie stars thought it was ok to be in such a trashy movie. I go to the movies several times a week, and it was probably the WORST movie I have EVER seen in my entire life! It wasn't funny. Not one person in the whole theater laughed, and I've never seen a movie theater clear out as quickly as this one did. Take my advice, and don't waste your time or money.

Wait for Redbox

I love crude humor but this just really wasnt that funny. I waited so long to see this movie....couldnt wait....what a let down. The funniest parts were from the trailer. Save your money and just watch the Movie 43 trailer on YouTube.

where is the funny?

I laughed...wait chuckled at best maybe twice. I normally love stupid humor, but this is just a horrible mistake. I would like to slap everyone involved with the production of this movie. I feel sorry for all who wasted their time/money. I'm even more sorry for the people foolish enough to believe they enjoyed it.

Tried Waay Too Hard and Missed the Mark....BADLY

So I was stupid excited to see this movie after seeing the previews and reading the cast list. Apparently they showed most of the rare funny bits in the preview. Basically it was a hodgepodge of famous people trying waaaay too hard to be funny with material that was (and this is being generous) mildly humorous.

I will admit that there were a couple of parts that had me laughing, but for the most part the movie was terrible. The worst part of the movie is the "storyline" that connects the different shorts. If anyone has ever seen "Dirty Movie" with Christopher Meloni, then you'd have an idea of how Movie 43 is setup. The only difference is that Dirty Movie was funny and I enjoyed it, whereas Movie 43 made me wish I was pissed when I went to go see it. I definitely had a drink directly after seeing it....and not just a beer. UGH. If you really want to satisfy your curiosity, wait for Netflix/Redbox. Not worth a trip to the cinema or the price of even a senior matinee ticket.
