Outrageous!

This movie was the first thing people think of when they think "horrible movie." This movie was offensive, and pervasive. The use of language was disgusting, as well as the ample crude scenes. The comedy was definitely outweighed by the graphic scenes. Seeing this movie was a large disappointment to all audience members.

"Just when you thought it couldn't get more offensive"

In the previews when it says, "Just when you thought it couldn't get more offensive", they aren't kidding. If you are one of those people that have to be politically correct about everything and you get easily offended, you will hate this movie. On the other hand, if you have a sense of humor that can go past all normal limits, you'll love this movie. There is hardly any plot line at all. It is just a bunch of short skits with really famous cameo appearances, and it is really funny. You've gotta just take it for how it is and roll with it.

Why "So-So"?

Plainly put - this movie is the dumbest, most-pointless movie I've ever seen in my entire life.

Random clips thrown together like a bad episode of Family Guy on acid that's gone horrifically wrong.

BUT, I'm willing to admit that it made me laugh so hard at some points it was difficult to breath.

Having said that, I will never ever watch it again.

If you're in middle or high school and like an immature laugh go check it out.
If you like more sophisticated forms of comedy, this is NOT for you - even considering the amount of celebrity cameos there is.

Colossal Waste of Time. Bought script from nearest Sixth-grader?

We wasted two good movie tickets on sitting through this "movie"?!?

Pro's:
-short
-LOVE the new recliners at AMC 8 Courthouse (they're perfect for sleeping through bad movies like this one.)
-All-star cast (but did not use their many talents for this movie.)

Con's:
-Basically this collection of shorts simply recycles Junior-High jokes (from the 90s.)
-The script has no plot, lousy setting, and I'm pretty sure that theaters in NY probably burned it as Theatrical-Treason.

Blah!!!

***If there were a movie for which one would demand a refund, this is it!

Unparalleled Artistry

One of the first comedies of 2013 turns out to be a rare masterpiece. The film Movie 43 is a saturated volume of social commentary that pushes philosophical boundaries and sheds light on the more complex aspects of American culture. The film provides heart-pounding intensity thanks to the unsurpassed ensemble cast. In the segment ?Truth or Dare?, Stephen Merchant and Halle Berry redefine romance in a way that will be mimicked and remembered for generations. Chris Pratt and Anna Faris give us an exposé on the many ways of expressing love in the segment ?The Proposition?. Yet even aside from what are sure to be Oscar worthy performances by Hugh Jackman and Richard Gere, so much of the life-changing force comes from Peter Farrelly?s direction of ?The Pitch?, ?The Catch?, and ?Truth or Dare?. I must also give special attention to the directing finesse of Jonathan van Tulleken in ?Machine Kids? which was obvious yet gentle symbolism for the futility of anger.

Worst Movie I've Seen In Years

I did get a few chuckles during this movie. That's the best thing I can say about this film. I suspect it would have been far funnier if I were 13 again, but I'm not, and it isn't. Its a series of "shorts" that include diarrhea, incest, a girls first period, and assorted other equally "hilarious" topics. To be as fair as possible, it may have been an attempt to poke fun at, oh, something, but it fails more completely than anything I've seen since Borat. Don't wast your time or money.

Raunchy but ohhhhh so funny

Maybe it just due to the fact that I am into this kind of humor but I found the movie absolutely hilarious. Without a doubt the movie was made for one sole purpose and that was to make you laugh I enjoyed all of it even though I at time caught myself like wtf am I watching I still seemed to find it oddly enough funny and entertainable. I suppose as a society we are going down the drain but it is totally worth it.

It's different and it know it's bad and that's the beauty of this movie

Ok Ive read the reviews before I went into the movie knowing very well that people were declaring it the worst movie of all time, how wrong they are, this is not the worst movie of all time, it doesnt even come CLOSE!! I'm telling you this right now this is not the worst movie ever made this is in fact like any other type of ranchy comedy you see in movies all the time. First off the movie knows its bad, the whole purpose of the movie is to show you how deranged and wrong these guys pitches are to this studio exec that they serve the whole purpose for the sketches we see and how bad they are. Some sketches are in fact laugh out loud funny while some are just BAD, bad to where your like what the hell I'm I watching bad but some are actually brilliant and give the film it's charm, some miss the mark but are funny none the less. This film will be a cult classic, trust me. It has the makings of it. Watch it when you have a chance.

Ummm really? AKWARD

To quote Lenka's " The Show " lyrics, " I want my money back, I want my money back"', Their are movies that become funny in their overkill of exaggerated use of being, gross, , offbeat , quirky, corny, but

"MOVIE 43 " At. Best... leaves. U At, FOR Real? This is ridiculous! DID I really pay to see this? Wow!
The story lines had potential, ( Think, really good SNL skits in a movie format) but somehow got lost...by almost over trying! It has the bling of a star studded cast, without any sparkle! The cast almost felt as they were scared of the awkwardness of the script, not committing to the overzealous format (outside Ana Faris who has perfected this genre of film).
If u need a filler outside outside current sad award honored productions ( aka Les Mis, The Impossible) to neutralize the tears,
This may be the solution , or a great start for your New Years Resolution to exercise towards the concession stand!

Terrible!

Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. It was like watching MadTV sketches only for two hours. Besides that, we went to Studio Movie Grill and it was the worst service I've ever had there!

Movie 43

Horrible movie....AWFUL!!! I can't believe that many top rated movie stars thought it was ok to be in such a trashy movie. I go to the movies several times a week, and it was probably the WORST movie I have EVER seen in my entire life! It wasn't funny. Not one person in the whole theater laughed, and I've never seen a movie theater clear out as quickly as this one did. Take my advice, and don't waste your time or money.

This was a HORRIBLE movie !! do not see it save your money and go see something else don't let the cast fool you ! I have no idea on why they would even agree to doing this movie.

where is the funny?

I laughed...wait chuckled at best maybe twice. I normally love stupid humor, but this is just a horrible mistake. I would like to slap everyone involved with the production of this movie. I feel sorry for all who wasted their time/money. I'm even more sorry for the people foolish enough to believe they enjoyed it.

Wait for Redbox

I love crude humor but this just really wasnt that funny. I waited so long to see this movie....couldnt wait....what a let down. The funniest parts were from the trailer. Save your money and just watch the Movie 43 trailer on YouTube.

Movie 43?

The title was the best part of the movie!!!!!! Nuff said. I walked away from it saying WTF and had to go home and watch another movie just to get it out of my head. Going to see this movie is like playing Russian Roulette with all 6 chambers loaded, there is no way you can come out of it with your mind intact.
