    It's alright

Not too much to say about this one, some suspense some thriller, a comeback from Elisabeth Shue. As a whole it was so-so but i'd go see it if I was you.

    Not good

It wasn't a bad story or twist, just everything about the movie was done poorly. The filming, editing, cinematography, dialogue, script, just every single aspect of the movie was bad. Given a competent filmmaker and screenwriter it wouldn't have been half bad. As-is it is a very avoidable movie. Do not pay theater money to see this!!

Just What I Wanted... Whatever Rotten Tomatoes

Regardless of the 11% given to this movie by rotten tomatoes, i gave it a shot.
If you're in to crime thrillers, then you'll enjoy this one. It's not the best thriller/horror film out there, but it got the job done. Also, i really enjoyed the music and film work.

    disappointed

    by falauri

Why is it to much to ask to get your money's worth to go and see a decent horror movie? I walked away not really understanding the ending. The only scenes that scared you at all was when the girl from basement jumping out with loud music. I was surprised Elizabeth Shue appearred in this movie. The Ryan character acter was not convincing at all, not great acting. And if I had to see another close up with Elissa character, I was going to scream. Come on, use some creativity. Dont waste your money. I wish another movie like "what lies beneath" would be released! Now that was good, scary, edge of your seat suspenseful, and what a real horror movie is what its all about.

    Not What I expected

    by TomW91

I was expecting the movie to be more 'ghostly' rather than some kid with a mental disorder. The story line was creative, but not well written.

    Wow!

i know most people below are like "maybe I'll go" i don't no about them, but i Love scary movies! its not that scary but its enough to make my grandma jump out of her skin. its more of a movie that will make you go either "Oh my god!" or "that's.....just... WOW!" i would give it a 4 1/2 starts because of the whole shaky camera thing. i recommend it for ages 13-40. i say only 40 because my grandma almost had a heart attack! I liked the movie over all! so yea... you should go!

House at the End of the Street

    by gatret

Not the worst I've ever seen but definitely not the best!
Not the least bit realistic. Very much like a remake of an old 60's movie. Blah!

A THRILL RIDE FROM BEGINNING TO END!!!

    by KDT

We went into this movie thinking it was gonna be another one of those horror movies that would scare the stuff out of us, but it was more of a thriller than anything which in our opinion made it work very well, this movie is very good, and very well done, it scared us at the right moments and had us in shock from a huge plot twist that we wouldn't have expected at all, it was a very intense, very scary , and very much of a thrill ride, this movie is not a must see but it definetly gets two thumbs up we give it an 8 and half or 9 out of 10!!!

    Horror?

    by

Horror? Hardly. We got a lot more laughs than scares out of this. Some of the best scary movies start with a trickling plot line but when the thrills and screams kick in they never stop. The only good scares I got were a spattering of shock factor screen flashes and loud noises. If you want a real scare, stick to something else!

The House At The End Of The Street

    by

This movie had a great story line. It diffidently had a twist at the end. Was more a movie for teenagers. The quality of the film was not that good. Took a long time to get things going in the movie. Would not recommend anybody spending money to go see it. Wait until it comes out on DVD. The only reason I went to see it is because I won a free ticket. Dont waist your money on this one.

    Very Boring Beginning....But Gets Good

My husband & I almost walked out of the movie because the beginning was so slow and seemed to be the same plot of a bunch of movies we had already seen. I'm glad we didn't leave because there was a great twist and I really ended up enjoying the movie in the end. The beginning really lags, but then it gets better.

    It's exactly what you expect

No surprises here, unfortunately. I wanted to be thrilled.. instead, you pretty much figure it out early on, then you have to sit through the rest of the movie. I really wanted to love this one, but I didn't.

    NOT SCARY

I thought the movie was gonna be scary, but it wasn't, at all. I knew what was going to happen before it did happen. It's for people who watch the same movies over and over again. If you are a horror head, you will be disappointed. More of a thriller than a horror.

    PRETTY GOOD ONE

Although it had all the elements of a scary movie, there psychological aspect of the plot is what I think makes it a "GO". A very nice twist once you figure out what is going on and everything begins to make sense! Personally I LOVED it. Good scare and good plot without the unnecessary overdone blood scenes or any of that!
