    Awe inspiring!

When the movie opened, I noticed that we had lots of military in uniform, in the theater. I was anxious to see how they would like this movie. Well, when it was over, you could have heard a pin drop. I heard a man say "Now they will understand". If you love this country and support our men and women in the military, you will love this movie. You will laugh, cry, and cheer the movie.

    AMAZING

Wow edge of your seat, heart pounding movie. And these guys are not actors they are active duty SEALS. The missions shown were recreations of REAL missions. Love the dedication to each other and family. THANK YOU Seals and all who protect us and our Country.

    Great action packed movie

Excellent movie which gives the civilian world a brief look inside our nations elite fighting force. I thought it was great that actual "Team" members were playing the roles instead of actors. God bless our military fighting forces!!

    Act of Valor

    by Elbart

I like the movie, it was very intense and well scripted. Lots of good action. The acting was really good. Having retired from the military I can relate to the close friendship
and the hardship of family members.

    Ex US Navy

This is an almost true to life movie. There is a lot of violence ? shooting grenades. It gave me a sense of pride knowing we have people like that protecting the USA.

Act of Valor is an Act of Courage

I found the movie to be an eye-opener to just how much our Navy Seals continue to put their lives at risk so that, we Americans, can live free and sleep safely in our own homes!!! A must see if you love your Country, like I do!!! Thank You to all the men and women who serve this Country, with courage, wisdom and honor!!!

must see for any active or former military

Excellent movie, I hope this starts a trend of using real soldiers in these types of movies, its easier to over look some lack of acting skill than a lack of reality in the action, in an action movie.

    Act of valor

being as I am a ex Navy man who worked with seals and sea bees I found the movie to be very realistic. Well acted by real seals, and the movie showed the personal ( Family) side of their lives. very good movie.

    Review

I loved it! It wasn't a Hollywood movie! To me it was more like Documentary movie. I was surprise that The Seal's showed a lot of secretes that it wasn't reveal before. I give it a 5 star!!

    Awesome movie

This movie had me on the edge of my seat during at least half of the movie. I've read some reviews that say the acting wasn't that good but for the fact that these guys are Navy Seals (along with other military personnel as pilots, submarine crew, etc), that just makes it all the more real all raw! The script was tailored to how they talk & communicate in real life and for real missions.

I do feel like you didn't get to know the Navy Seals characters that well but I still loved the movie.

When the credits roll, brace yourself cuz you might cry! I wanted to and my eyes had filled with tears but I fought them back because I didn't want to be crying when the lights came back on.

I took my 11 year old to see this. I know it's not made for kids but he can handle things like this. I would not recommend this for children under 10 & for children 10 - 16, it depends on each child individually.

    Act of Valor

    by nygard

The movie was amazing. Some say the acting was Bad but what you need to realize in this movie is that the main cast ARE NOT actors they are men that are serving this country. In my opinion the acting was not bad at all for men who are not professional actors it was actually good. the action scenes are amazing overall it was a great action movie and it is a great tribute to the men and women who serve. and the closing scene showing the names of the Navy service members who have died since 9/11. my only complaint about this movie is the end it is a typical dramatic Hollywood ending to a great action movie. I would recommend this to anyone and i would go see it again.

Act of Valor is a Must See

    by ghaowi

I enjoyed viewing the Act of Valor movie, because it helped me understand the challenges special forces face everyday to keep the United States safe from external threats. All aspects of the film worked well. The film may not be ideal for young children but may be appropriate for teens. At the end of the day, I felt that the film would be a great recruiting tool for the US Navy.

Incredible, though povoking and deeply saddening.

If you have never served you must see this movie. It will give you a glimpse into the reality that haunts the defenders of our freedoms long after they move back into the private sector.

    Act of Valor

The film was a good film to see. It showed how special forces live and react to one another.
You need to watch the beginning to see how it ties into the end.
The real Navy Seals did a great job because it is what they were trained to do.
There is a lot of killing in the film so it may not be for everyone..
Other than that, I feel it is one that you should really see.
