    Just didn't work

    Good movie

    This was actually a really good movie. Keeps you guessing and has lots of intrigue and suspense. Really liked it!

    The Raven at Kausmann teather in Astoria New York

    I haven't seen it because the performance was cancelled, therefore loosing my time and money. I will not use Fandango anymore.

    Nice Ode to Poe

    A bit of a confusing start...but stick with it, the pace and story picks up fast. Cusack does a wonderful job making Edgar Allen Poe both larger than life as well as human. Thrilling murder mystery set in the backdrop of a time when people actually took the time to write, read and contemplate life through poetry. Excellent acting all round and a great poetic feel to the story. Nice Ode to Edgar Allan Poe.

    Typical Poe

    It was a typical Poe movie. Started out slow then jumps to get your attention for the rest of the movie. John Cusack is still an amazing actor.

    Gore fest

    When i was going to see it the first night it was out i thought it would be an amazing movie because well John Cusack is in it, and i am a huge fan of Edger Allen Poe, and i love bloody movies so i thought that it was a well made movie. I did not think that some of the murder's and story's lined up with Poe's origonal stories. I wish that they had less blood and gore. I think that this movie is NOT FOR KIDS at ALL, there are a few scene's that disturbed me, which is hard to do. I think that i should not have seen it because im still a young teenager. Then again i am a huge Horror fan. I do recomend it for older teens and adults.

    Raven

    Predictible. Slow. Phantom of the Opera meet Jekell and Hyde meets Sherlock Holmes meets Jack the Ripper. Didn't even get a good nap in during the movie.

    The Raven

    Looked great from the trailer. But not as good as expected. If there is nothing else you wanna see. Its worth a look. Or just wait for DVD.

    See it nevermore. Dull, ridiculous, and dreadful.

    Boy, was this bad. Started off okay but just got worse and worse at went along, until even the actors seemed to be tired of it. Realllly predictable -- serial killer leaving clues, detective (poe, here) on his tail, always never manages to get him as the killer taunts him. One long chase scene, really, and sadly John Cusack doesn't do much for it. Do yourself a favor, save your money, and go see something -- anything -- else.

    I really wanted to like it. It was impossible to enjoy.
