    An Epic

    by

Some said it's too long, but I didn't have a problem. This is a film that has EVERYTHING. You don't need to know what I think about it, just go and see it. Nuf said.

excellent- remember its just a movie!!!

Great movie and entertainment. As with all of Quentin's films I close my eyes for a few overly graphic comic book style parts but for me that does not ruin it! The story is so original and absurd that the almost three hours is pure entertainment and think provoking! The characters are unique and they all play a part in this fantastic story. Remember- its a movie and it has its own style- but its not a historical document or interpretation. all the characters when thought of realistically are absolutely ridiculous
Thanks to a great cast of artists both in front of and behind the camera

    DJANGO fast paced

LeMiz only had front row seats and we jumped to DJANGO instead and were not disappointed. The many plots were fast action and the almost 2-1/2 hour movie went quickly. Acting was really good and the twists took your breath. It was a bit too Quentin Tarentino in that it was gratuitously violent and closing your eyes didn't diminish the images. Wonderful casting and even some lighter moments (but not a comedy) and the character development made you interested in what happened to them.

    Quentin you've done it again!

Django was FANTASTIC. Action packed, hilarious, and grueling all at the same time while touching on a past that many have probably tried to forget. All of the actors and actresses did a fabulous job in their roles. I highly recommend this movie! It's not for children though.

Best Tarantino Movie Since Pulp Fiction

If "Pulp Fiction" is a favorite, you will love Django. Smart dialog, interesting characters, great story line & great direction. Outstanding performances by the Stars and some less-known actors. Lots of action without the CGI crap and unrealistic super-human athleticism that I have come to hate in many action movies. I hope Quentin continues to make these types of movies. It's what he is best at.

    Django Unchained

A true Tarantino classic. Action packed, no expense was cut for the blood and fight scenes. Thoroughly enjoyed it. At the end, the patrons in the theatre clapped because we had all been thoroughly entertained. Must go, must see!

    OMG...LOVED IT!!!

Django Unchained, was an awesome movie, after Roots, what other movie let's a black man seek revenge by blowing the heads off their slave master. The scene with the KKK when they were talking about the bags, that was the funniest scene ever. I laughed so hard I nearly wet my pants. All the actor's did a great job playing their characters, I almost didn't recognize Don Johnson as Big Daddy. Quentin Tarantino did an awesome job on this kick *** movie. You must go see it but with all the violent scenes and killing it is not for small children.

    Django was fantastic!!!!

    by jemsp4

Django (The D is Silent) was excellent. The story, the acting, the filiming were all top shelf and perfectly Tarantino! This is the best Tarantino movie yet and the cast was over the top good. This movie deserves recognition and Tarantino deserves an award. Great job QT!

Good Movie, but hard to watch!

There is some really excellent stuff in this film,(the acting, cinematography, soundtrack, etc.) but it was very difficult for me to watch. There is also a lot of violence and brutality that harkens to a very, very ugly time in American history that so many wish to sweep under the rug. Watching it made me quite uncomfortable during many scenes.

    Django

Quentin Tarantino has yet again brought us a well written, believable dialogue, and an all star cast in Django. As an old African American the use of the "N" word was just the way it was depicted in days where few people of color were truly free. The plot is very plausible and well worth a giant popcorn and a small drink to share with your sweetie while you sit of the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next!

Go ses it and wonder no more!

    Fantastic film

Not too violent but appropriately violent. Not bloated rather suspenseful. Not a "white savior" film - Django saves himself. The spaghetti western form is not dismissive of slavery; the style doesn't interfere with and even highlights the horror of the subject matter.

    Classic Quentin

Better than expected. Great cameos by Bruce Dern and Don Johnson. The movie keeps you interested and it did not feel like a 2hr 45min movie once it was done.

    Django "Holy @%$&"

Make no mistake about it this is a Quintan Teratino movie. If you have never seen a QT Movie (i.e. Pulp Fiction, Natural Born Killers, Reservoir Dogs...etc) prepare yourself. I do not suggest bringing any children under the age of 18y/o. Why would you though? It's a QT movie. Did I mention, THIS IS A QT MOVIE!!!

    Entertaining

    by gwkjn

Had no idea what to expect. Didn't like Pulp Fiction at all, but found Django Unchained very entertaining. Was surprised at the language in the movie which I thought might be offensive to many, but the audience seemed to enjoy the movie. Would recommend it.
