    Django Unchained

    by dtdt

Not your typical Christmas movie but it was well done and kind of funny if you could put the uncomfortable slavery issue out of your mind!

    Good Movie

Very entertaining. Exactly what you would expect from Quentin Tarantino. If you liked the Kill Bill series or Jackie Brown then you will like this movie.

    DJANGO

    by

OK,if you know SERGIO LEONI you will anderstand...

    in this movie Quinton Tarantino tried a similar adventure and i liked it; just a bit to much killing and blood splatters ;actors are very good L. Decaprio almost stole the best actor part whit his performsnce ;good job from S.Jackson; J, Foxx is very good also;
so the salade and the dressing was almost perfect , for me of course go see it and relax have fun ...

    DISGUSTING!!! APPALLING!!

First, I could not believe that the African American actors in the movie thought so little of those who have gone before them to make a movie in 2012 and throw around the "N" word like it was something respectible. The true fact is that they showed those who are oppressed, begin to operate JUST LIKE THE OPPRESSORS. I believe that the slaves of yesterday were more than cringing above.

Secondly, why is it that movies today are only produced for those with lowered moral standards? Cursing, nudity, extreme violence.....the only thing I didn't see was drugs. I don't believe this was theatrically good at all. How could parents have allowed their children to sit there are be beseiged by that??????

The standards of America have been lowered to the point that trash like this movie rate awards! I DO believe that Mr. Foxx is a good actor, as well as the others. But, when playing such character, it minimizes the good acting.

    STUNNING!

Quentin Tarantino is at it again with this film. If you are a fan of his passed movies, you do not want to miss out on "Django Unchained" where he pulls out all the stops. Foxx, Waltz, Dicaprio, and Jackson were remarkable in their roles and showed us why they are the best at what they do. This is a movie for people who are fans of the westerns with abit of a twist. There is lots of violence and blood, but has a great plot as well. Not for kids by any means, but if you want to have some fun you will not be dissapointed with buying a ticket to this movie. I wouldn't be suprised to see this movie up for some Oscar's or Golden Globes next year. A man and his friend will do everything in their power to get what they want, at all costs. Go see it. Remarkable! I can't wait to get it on DVD.

    Django Fiction

"Djano" means a fun movie, gotta see it once.
"Pulp Fiction," on the other hand, never gets old even though one can view it 100's of times. I noted a number of the audience who talked about the humor in "Django," which is funny and filled with great moments. However In nearly every scene of "Pulp Fiction" there was a take-away moment, a key line one could use later; funnier, too.
I rate his movies in order (Directed and/or wrote) 1. Pulp 2. True Romance 3. Reservoir Dogs 4. From Dusk to Dawn 5. All the rest tie at No. 5
Understand, of course, that No. 5 on this list will be floors above most movies, so recognize this is a very high bar by the most creative of people.

    Wonderfully Magnificent

    by

Django has been getting all kinds of raving reviews...and mine is no different. Django could possibly be one of my favorite movies ever, and if not it is definitely top three.
The acting was so good and was written magnificently, an art in and of itself. Yes, there was a ton of language but it was used to fit into the movie perfectly.
PARENTS: If you are thinking about taking your kids to see this movie...it's a no brainer. This is one of the best movies of all times in my opinion and you should definitely take your kids to see it. None of you will be disappointed.
Overall, Django was an excellent movie, or as I like to put it, it was wonderfully magnificent. This movie is a must go. I would pay for it over and over to see it again.
Bottom line: This movie was incredible. GO WATCH IT!

    Outstanding!,,

Typical of Quentin Tarentino, this was a very violent movie. However, the portrayal of intelligent and "human" slaves was uplifting. Albeit slavery was horrific, but a sad reality that Django was able to escape from. I enjoyed the movie. It was quite moving. Strictly an adult movie.

Best movie this Director has ever made.

Can I just say this movie had some stellar performances but Samuel Jackson performance wanted me to go find the grandchild of a house slave and slap the s*** out of them. His performance was extraordinarily spectacular.

    Worth Seeing

Quentin Tarantino is an interesting man and his movies an extension of that interest. Django Unchained did not disappoint, enough fiction and historical references brought together for pure entertainment. Mute Spike Lee and see the movie.

    Django Unchained

I completely enjoyed the experience. There were so many twists and turns that it kept you always speculating on how the movie would end. The final thirty minutes had so much action and,of course with a Tarantino movie, blood shed that you were on the edge of your seat. I give it four stars out of four,

    Tarantino Unchained

Until yesterday, I thought Pulp Fiction was the best Tarantino could be. This was Oscar worthy. I thought he perfectly portrayed the brutality of slavery and didn't cross any lines. The acting was superb; Chris Waltz was other-worldly. He absolutely deserved the GG. GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!

    Tarantino Has Done It Again!!!

    by

Another good movie from Quentin Tarantino with vast variety of actors we haven't seen on screen in a while. Yes, Tarantino stay true to his gritty core style of action with plenty of visual bloody action the way action movies need to be. So far whatever Tarantino puts his hands on seen to have a Midas experience!!! Great job by the very talented songwriter, comedian, actor Jamie Foxx. Samuel L. Jackson really got into your mind & had you leaving the theatre wanting to see him DEAD!!! Now that's a great perform!!! GO SEE IT!!!

    Great! Great!

I am a true Quentin Tarantino fan. It was classic with just the right amount of action, blood, comedy, quick wit, information, and drama of any Tarantino flicks. The theater was packed and there were many applause. I highly recommend it.
