    Another Tarentino Masterpiece!

Tarentino manages to stay true to the tone of the traditional spaghetti western but still manages to make a movie that feels very unique and fresh.

    DJango

I loved it! Thought it was done well. Violent.....lots of blood. Just closed my eyes.
It was much better then I thought it would be.

Homage as only Quentin can dude!

Awesome send up of 40 years western genre films. Jamie fox kicks *** in the tradition of the duke and Eastwood. Christopher waltz could extract my teeth anytime. Five thumbs up for Quentin 's best.

    Brilliant! Gut-Wrenching! Epic!

    by mrbryan

This film reminded me of the grand Leone westerns, beautiful and coarse and stunning. The plot... who cares about the plot, really? It's a fine plot, of love and revenge and murder and lots and lots of blood. The really incredible thing about this movie was its brutal depiction of slavery and the evil institution that it was.

    Just RAW

QT has done it again. An exciting, unpredictable love story. Jamie does an excellent presentation of an ex-slave bounty hunter who is in search of his long lost love.
If you are adversed to the "N" word, this is not the movie for you.

    So. Awesome.

    by Miss E

Classic Tarantino movie, complete with ridiculous, unrealistic violence. But the acting was amazing. The actors earned their Golden Globe nods! Kids should not see it. Prepare to laugh at all types of seemingly inappropriate situations, and hear the word '*****' a lot. But it MUST be seen!

    GO SEE THIS MOVIE!

    by rdwtwin

I LOVED this movie! Classic Tarantino! The music was great, the actors were great, the content was great! LOVED Jamie Fox, I think this is my favorite movie of his! I liked Any Given Sunday but he was much better in this one! Great story line, the length of the movie was not an issue because it was funny and full of great action and dialogue. Christoph Waltz and Samuel L. Jackson were great too! Great, great, great movie!!!!

    Tarantino At His Best

    by HenryeB

I saw it this morning and the movie remains fresh in my mind. This movie stands with the best of Tarantino's offerings. The action is raw and unapologetic, and even though the movie is over two hours long, the time is filled in each frame so it goes quickly. Some might complain about the brutality of the slavery aspect, but slavery was brutal and inhumane, so I would have been disappointed if Tarantino had attempted to tone it down. This movie is not for everyone as Tarantino is not for everyone, but if you like both him and his films, you will love this movie.

    Simply put...Amazing!

Quentin has done it again. This movie was one of the best movies of 2012. Yes it has a few touchy subjects. But 1. You have to remember...IT'S A MOVIE! 2. People do not like to hear the truth, so you will hear many complaints. & 3. Yes the "N" word is use quite a bit in this movie but it isn't the first and it surely won't be the last movie to use it. Overall this film gets a 10 out of 10 in my book. The cast was great and the plot/storyline was outstanding.

Gratuitous Violence and "The D is silent"

    by

Walking into the movie, one should remember that it's a Tarantino movie produced by the Weinstein Brothers. One should expect wit and gratuitous violence. You get that and so much more. There was only one moment when I had to look away. Tarantino violence doesn't ever really make me look away like it does in other movies, probably because it is so over the top, but at one point, it did. Jamie Foxx gives an amazing performance. The cameos don't fail and are, as usual, a nice laugh moment for sequences. The rhythm is unmistakable. It is choppy at times, which, for whatever reason, always works for Tarantino. Overall, I highly recommend the movie to people who can stomach the gratuitous violence. I look forward to its dvd release so I can rewatch it with more leisure to really absorb it.

    DJANGO Unchained

Another great Quentin Tarantion's piece, this was a combination of seriousness, comedy, drama, and fun roled into one package. The scene with them arguing over the mask and how they were prepared was an awesome, funny piece of work. Big Daddy (Don Johnson), and Leonardo DeCampro as Mr. Candy in his powerful ignorance were fantastic. All the way to the end where Quentin gets blown to bits was great. You know the movie is done well comedically when white people were comfortable laughing at usage of the "N" word, just hope they don't get too comfortable.. This will be part of my blue ray collection for sure.

    Bad Ass

    by gxc615

Too lazy to type a full review. If you love Quentin Tarantino, violence, laughter (there was a lot of laughter from ALL races in the theater, I was seated beside black people, Hispanics and whites) love stories, westerns, cheese in just the right spots/amounts, good music and great acting you will love this movie.

    Love tihs movie!

Loved this movie. This may be one of Tarantino's best if not his best movie. Great acting by Jamie Foxx (and easy on the eyes too!) as well as DiCaprio, Samuel L and Christoph Waltz who was perfect in his role as German bounty hunter. I wasn't wild about going to this movie due to use of "n" word which I dislike, however, it was well done. Makes you think about what life was like back in slavery days but very entertaining. Great meld between the spaghetti western and love story. This is what movie going is all about. I rate as a must see!
