'The Lucky One' review
Another Nicholas Sparks cliché. Man finds woman, woman plays hard-to-get, something drastic happens in the middle, the two end up together in the end. This is the definition of a chick-flick. Fortunately for Nicholas Sparks, I?m a sucker for all of his books and movies, and chick-flicks. But I have to say, The Lucky One was different. His acting wasn?t the best, but I think that this is one of Zac Efron?s best films, putting aside the fact that he?s, well
Zac Efron. I also really like the fact that they used Taylor Schilling. She?s not that popular and her looks don?t steal your attention. Don?t get me wrong, she?s still stunning! I was just more enthralled in her acting. She did really well in that distressed mom act. The dad, Jay R. Ferguson, was a typical, drunk dirt bag and he played it well, too. The only draw back is that the book was pretty different. There were a lot of changes. I won?t give anything away I just wished they followed the book more.
