    I liked it

    I went to see this with my husband for Vday. I enjoyed it very much. It would of been better had I not read the book so that I didn't know all the twists and back story. I did enjoy how they went from her leaving and seeing bits and pieces in flashbacks. Overall I did enjoy it.

    Great Story

    This movie got a little slow at the midpoint but overall I really liked it. Take some Kleenex because there wasn't a dry eye in the theater.

    Loved It..

    Julia did it better

    Not sure if anyone remembers, Julia Roberts already did this movie called "Sleeping with the Enemy" in1991 and did it much better. Very surprised that it opened on Valentines Day, not exactly the feel good love story I would condider. I mean Hello! the ex gets shot in the head and the daughter almost dies in a fire and this is at the end. Just ok acting and even worse directing. seemed very choppy to me and the characters were not developed well or likeable.
    Wait for video if you must see this at all.

    Safe Haven

    a movie for all generations, we had a girls night out with the family and had four generations with us. it was fabulous and i would go see it again.

    Totally Loved This Film

    I usually avoid anything based on Nicholas Sparks novels, primarily because he is fond of killing off his lead characters. This time though, I had heard it had a better ending so I took a chance. It totally blew me away--very beautifully done film. I will absolutely buy a Blu Ray copy as soon as it is released.

    Favorite movie now!

    I'm 12 almost 13 so this would be good for my age group and older. I absolutely love this movie!! It made me cry like 5 times during the movie or at least tear up up, it has such a different story to it than most romance movies it's just I don't know I loved it and out of 1-10 I'd give it a 10 and this is my new favorite movie and would recommend it to anybody who's interested you won't regret it! It is sad but happy and makes you smile throughout the movie and its realistic :)

    Safe Haven

    I took my granddaughter to see this film and we both felt it was a very touching intertaining movie. What a surprise at the end. It showed what can happen in ones life and we felt it was proven any one can go on with life no matter what happens to ones life. All in all it was very intertaining for all ages. I'm 62 and my grandaughter is 18.

    Safe Haven - Awesome

    I had not read the book.....but now that I know the twist at the end I am going back to see it again to watch those scenes in a different light.

    LOVED THE COMBO OF THRILLER/ROMANCE together.

    safe haven

    It was a good movie, there were some parts that I thought more information was needed.. the neighbor who Katie went to when she left her husband then called to say she found a safe
    place. BUt all in all it was a good movie.

    Nice Movie

    I took my wife to go see this movie. I was not expecting much but it turned out to be a very nice movie. One of the best endings to a movie that I have seen in a long time.

    Enjoyed!

    Enjoyed the movie! Of course, LOVED the book much better. As always, there will be some changes from the writing of the book however I but really enjoyed the movie and glad I went to see it. Juliana Hough did a great job playing the character of Katie!

    Safe Haven's feel good formula.

    The movie is proof that Hollywood doesn't always have to resort to violence or special-effects to entertain us. This was a thoroughly delightful movie in that it had a pretty girl, a suspenseful plot, lighthearted moments, and a backstory well hidden until the end. My wife and I are avid movie goers but we rarely go out during the week. This movie was perfect for Valentine's Day. I knew the first time that I saw Julianna Hough on dancing with the stars that there would be many more opportunities. This movie gave her a great story to demonstrate her acting skills. Safe Havens will likely be on the Academy radar, but it's a good movie, a twisting plot, fine acting and well worth seeing.

    Safe Haven

    I really loved this movie. My husband went with me and he even liked it. Josh and Julianne are great together! You know how you can't wait to see a movie then you watch it and your let down some what. That's no so with this one.
