    AMAZING

    This movie has to be my all time favorite. I have NO IDEA why the critics rated this a "NO." If you don't want to see this movie just because of what they said, you are seriously missing out. This movie warmed my heart and consisted of everything I love: romance, mystery, and a tad of a paranormal twist. I recommend it to every breathing soul on this planet (that's over 14 years of age, that is) because TRUST ME, you won't be sorry.

    If you want a happy ending...

    This movie is a great date movie, but definately a "chick flick". Handsome as ever, Josh Duhamel is the perfect leading male role. He is sweet and romantic. When you see him smile, you ladies will want to just sigh. Julianne Hough is beautiful and they have great chemistry together. I loved the little twist at the end.

    The story is predictable, but I still liked it. It didn't drag on and get boring, even though it was predictable. I am a sucker for romance and happy endings, so this was my kind of film. No bad language, and a tasteful love scene that doesn't show anything but kissing. I would say it is OK for all family members, but the younger ones probably won't understand it.

    Such a sweet romance!

    I have not thoroughly enjoyed a romance movie like I did this one in years! Although it didn't hold true to the book in every sense, the essence was still the same, as well as the finer points. This movie perfectly portrays what it's like to fall in love in the real world. The world where you have to tuck your kids into bed at night after a date because they couldn't fall to sleep without you. It also was so cute to see how the relationship develops from a scared girl to her being open and loving once more. I highly recommend this movie. Even my husband enjoyed it. We decided to do our own kissing during the sex scene rather than watching someone else make out, so I don't know if they showed any nudity. It was a pretty short scene, though.

    Horrible acting

    The plot was predictable and I the only thing that could've redeemed the movie were the actors. But both Duhamel and Hough did sub par jobs. If you are expecting a 'the notebook esque" experience, prepare to be very disappointed. You are better off watching a lifetime orginal movie.

    Safe Haven

    By far, the best movie we have seen in a long time! Always loved Nicholas Sparks's books and the movie lived up to- if not exceeded- my expectations. Not just a chick flick: my hubbie loved it, too.

    Good Movie

    I think that the book was so much better, but that's always the case. Lots of small differences, but the main story was the same. We really enjoyed it!

    Totally Loved This Film

    I usually avoid anything based on Nicholas Sparks novels, primarily because he is fond of killing off his lead characters. This time though, I had heard it had a better ending so I took a chance. It totally blew me away--very beautifully done film. I will absolutely buy a Blu Ray copy as soon as it is released.

    Went for Valentines day with Bo. Awesome story line.Didnt see the ending coming.Definately a must see and must purchase and ad to collection of Sparks movies...enjoy...

    Safe Haven's feel good formula.

    The movie is proof that Hollywood doesn't always have to resort to violence or special-effects to entertain us. This was a thoroughly delightful movie in that it had a pretty girl, a suspenseful plot, lighthearted moments, and a backstory well hidden until the end. My wife and I are avid movie goers but we rarely go out during the week. This movie was perfect for Valentine's Day. I knew the first time that I saw Julianna Hough on dancing with the stars that there would be many more opportunities. This movie gave her a great story to demonstrate her acting skills. Safe Havens will likely be on the Academy radar, but it's a good movie, a twisting plot, fine acting and well worth seeing.

    Great movie. Did not exactly follow the book, but the main story held true. There was definitely good chemistry with Julianne and Josh.I was not disappointed.

    It was a 'sweet' movie....but, absolutely predictable. I had not read the book prior to seeing the movie; however, I had the plot twists figured out before the movie was even half way over. Not saying it is a bad movie....because it isn't. Josh Duhamel & Julianne Hough are very likable. It is just not a full price ticket movie.....easily watched at home.

    Great movie!

    Loved the characters and the setting. The movie also had a great story line. I definitely recommend this movie. Was a feel good movie. I hope there is a part 2!

    My wife and I loved the it. There was real chemistry between the leading characters. Of course, it was a good love story, but it also had some very tense, edge-of-seat scenes and a satisfying and surprise eniding.

    SAFE HAVEN

    Very predictable story line all except the end. Nice twist but I won't ruin it for the die hard Romantics out there.
    Julianne is just down right pretty, the camera loves her, her acting is ok nothing to right home about. Love love love Josh, I wish he got more challenging roles.
    Over all I would wait to see this movie when it comes out on DVD or Netflix.

    BEST MOVIE EVER WATCHED

    OMG!!
    I'm in LOVE with this movie! BEST ONE I'VE EVER SEEN!
    I like how there is romance between Alex and Katie and I like how Katie barely knows Alex, Lexi and Josh in the beginning but still is nice to them and helps them. Like when Josh falls into the ocean, she helps Alex by taking care of Lexi. *SPOILER ALERT!* sorry...
