    Safe Haven - Very Well Done

    Actually went to see another movie as the review we heard for this one was not good - fortunately we got the time wrong for the other movie and decided to give Safe Haven a chance. So glad we did - both Josh and Julianne were very believable in their roles - the scenery was beautiful and the story line was excellently done. Well worth your time and money - my husband enjoyed it as well - so guys - don't think its just a chick flick! I'd sit through it again - it was that good! I'd give this one 5 stars!

    Great Feel-Good Movie

    I loved this film. My husband, who enjoyed the book-on-cd, said one of the drawbacks was we weren't shown how psychotic the cop really was. Loved the plot twists and the ending was incredible! I don't know what movie the critics were watching, but I will see this again on DVD.

    Great movie!

    Loved the characters and the setting. The movie also had a great story line. I definitely recommend this movie. Was a feel good movie. I hope there is a part 2!

    Great ending

    Knowing the type of books written by Nicholas Sparks, and having seen a lot of his movies, they usually leave me sad at the end with an exception or two. Nevertheless, I saw this movie and liked it for the most part, but the best part was the ending which I found very touching and which made the whole movie a plus for me.

    not another NS movie

    Good come back after the awful chemistry in 'The Lucky One'. I went into the theater not having watched a single movie trailer or reading one review. I didn't even read the book. It didn't start out like a normal Nicholas Sparks movie (panning over a landscape and a sunrise). Loved the twist (which i caught earlier when the flying fish was mentioned). Wonderful adaptation.

    Not a true chick flick

    I went to the movie with my wife, already prepared not to enjoy it. I really liked the movie. The acting was believable and the story was good. It's even better if you have not read the book and heard much about it. There are a lot of twists and surprises. I thought that Julianne Hough was very good and the little girl was fantastic. Guys if your girl or wife wants to see this movie, go, you will enjoy it.

    Safe Flm

    It wasn't an amazing movie, but the story line was good with a few surprises. Most of them could be figured out by the middle of the movie. Beautiful setting, touching romance, and some laughs. Not a waste of money.

    I loved it

    I loved this movie... Reminded me a little bit of "Sleeping with the Enemy". Didn't see the twist at the end coming, but once you see it some things make more sense...

    Worth the wait

    The movie was a "go see" for the romantics out there. As is the norm, the book is a must read BEFORE you watch the movie. You will appreciate both for their subtle differences.

    This movie was great! Not your typical story line but what nicholas sparks movie is? LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! I'll probably be returning to watch it again!! :D

    Safe Haven

    This movie was okay. It was almost predictable. But with that being said I loved it. Everyone should see it. The acting was great, loved the location of filming. It starts out very slow but once it picks up it is good. It was a good PG13.

    They changed several things from the book, which always annoys me. However, I just love Josh Duhamel and he is reason alone to see the movie! :) Plus, as an added bonus, Julianne Hough was quite delightful. I have never seen her in anything before and I really liked her.

    I can see where people who are not fans wouldn't much care for this movie, but I thought it was worth it since I had invested time in the book and I kept up with the hype on the Safe Haven Facebook page. I'm a sucker for a good romance. :)

    Wait for it

    Was really looking forward to this movie and was truly disappointed. No real chemistry comes across on the screen between "Katie" and any other cast member. Josh Duhamel does a decent job but without help from his co-star it just doesn;t work. Julienne doesn't seem to connect with anyone from Josh down to little Lexi. Save your money and wait for it to come out On Demand for free. Sorry.

    Not a bad movie, as other reviews suggest

    This movie was sweet, charming, and had me in tears at the end. Yes, the 'stupifying' twist that others complain about, will actually warm your heart. If you have kids, or have lost a loved one, I think it would be impossible to not at least get choked up with this film.Yes, it's true that it's somewhat predictable at times (but then again, there is no surprise the two stars are getting together at SOME point), and it loosely borrows its' storyline from Sleeping with the Enemy, and you do kind of wonder why she would choose to live in the woods after what she's been through (and is going through), but the movie just works.The characters I thought were lovely and had a ton of chemistry. The daughter's character was adorable, the scenery cozy, and the 'bad guy', well...he looks and acts the part. This is no Oscar contender, by any stretch, but since The Notebook had terrible reviews as well, I tend not to pay too much attention to critics. Everyone in the theater, including men, enjoyed

    BEST MOVIE EVER WATCHED

    OMG!!
    I'm in LOVE with this movie! BEST ONE I'VE EVER SEEN!
    I like how there is romance between Alex and Katie and I like how Katie barely knows Alex, Lexi and Josh in the beginning but still is nice to them and helps them. Like when Josh falls into the ocean, she helps Alex by taking care of Lexi. *SPOILER ALERT!* sorry...
    LOVE ITTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
