    Great Valentine's Day Movie!!!

    The movie was great....the chemistry between Josh & Julianna just made the story so real. Throughout the movie you had moments that were happy, sad, scary, angry. It ws a beautiful story. Great ending!

    Amazing

    My boyfriend and I went to this on Valentine's Day. Its an amazing movie. They have very good chemistry and its a very good story. Makes you think the whole way through. Would definitely go again. LOVED IT!!!

    I will preface this by saying I may be one of the few guys that actually liked the Notebook. I did not like Dear John as much. I liked The Lucky one even less. But this one? It was the worst one of the bunch. We have mystery, suspense, love, and even a little of the 6th Sense going on. Physically beautiful people being drawn to each other. The town that the story took place in was also very picturesque. That is the ONLY reason I gave this a No and not a "Hell No!"

    Loved it!

    I read the book and then saw the movie. It very much followed the book. It is sweet, funny and suspenseful! I enjoyed it very much and do recommend it!

    Could have been a Lifetime Movie

    This movie may have been better if I had read the book first. I thought it was a little long for the storyline and found myself bored at times. This, for me would have been a letter LMN movie. The story was a bit predictable and I think it it would have moved a bit faster, it wouldn't have given the audience enough time to predict what was going to happen. Even the bid twist at the end I had figured out a few minutes before the reveal. At times, it felt like I was watching Sleeping with The Enemy.

    Safe Heaven

    I read the book and i have to say i was expecting so much more! Don't get me wrong it was a good movie, but a lot of people are saying its better than the note book not true!

    Amazing!

    This is such a great movie! Just as good, if not better, than the Notebook... if that's even possible. This is totally a must see with a perfectly suitable twist at the end! This is so much more than your typical "chick flick". I would recommend that guys and girls alike go see this heartfelt movie.

    We single Girls Loved SAFE HAVEN on Valentine's Day

    OMG! My two 50 YO single friends and I loved it! Read the book last summer while sitting on the beach in Delaware ... couldn't put it down ... This film version is awesome! Most of it 99% was just as I pictured it in my mind's eye, some was slightly different, but it really did the Book Justice! The scenery was wonderful. The chemistry was great! Lil "Lexi" was cute as a button. Produced by Nicholas Sparks himself! Great Story! I loved how they filmed the surprise twist! When it was done, everyone in the theatre who had read the book was chit chatting immediately .... Total strangers commenting to each other how much we all enjoyed it immensely! Two Thumbs up from Maryland! [Funny, I just noticed the Critics Hate it and the Movie-going fans Love it! Aren't movies made for the fans? Critics, criticize right?] If you like Nichols Sparks, and you liked the book, you will love this film! Only one scene missing from the book, but we didn't need it either....

    A Fun Film

    It's a Nicholas Sparks, it's going to be romantic. A chic flick. I like quite a few genres of film, and for a romance, it was good. I also liked the suspense.

    Safe Haven

    Great Love story . Not your same ole boy meets girl they sleep together she gets prego , they move in with each other fall in love and live happily ever after . There is actually a story line , and guess it doesn't revolve around sex . Beautiful seanary ,and the kids are too cute . Done very tastefully . Coming from a similar history as Kattie shows just enough without too much violence . Great movie go see it you won't be disappointed .

    Safe Haven Review

    I thoroughly enjoyed Safe Haven. Like the book on which it is based, it was well-written. The cinematography was superb, especially the parts on the beach and water. The climax had me on the edge of my seat, although I already knew how it'd turn out because I'd read the book. The directing was very good, and the actors seemed very sincere. I don't remember seeing Josh Duhammel in any other roles, but I thought this role was good for him because he came across as a loving, protective father. The part where he is in the room above his store, struggling with his grief over the loss of his wife and realizing how much he loves Katie and is about to lose her, is very poignant. I've seen Julianne Hough in some other roles and I thought this was her best one. When the identity of Katie's friend Jo was revealed, it surprised a lot of people. One young man down the row from me shouted, "I'm outta here!" and stalked out of the theater to a chorus of laughter. He should've read the book.

    Should have been a Lifetime Made For TV movie

    Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Josh Duhamel but he and the other cast members couldn't successfully save Julianne Hough's terrible acting. Even Mimi Kirkland and Noah Lomax as the kids did a better job of acting. Someone should send Julianne to their acting coaches for lessons.

    The Notebook was a far better movie. As for the plot, this seems like a modern day redo of Sleeping with the Enemy. Both are equally bad for the acting despite name brand actors.

    Save your dollars. Wait for it as a free movie. Sorry, Josh.

    Go if you're looking for a comedy

    One of the worst movies I've seen in my entire life. Very choppy and ended abruptly. Bad acting. Bad script. VERY funny if you can take it that way.

    I took my girlfriend of 4 months to this film and had a great time. It was cute, and had a great story line. Basic romance movie. Almost as good as the notebook.

    Unexpected Ending

    I really enjoy it and I recommend it. It is perfect to the Nicholas Sparks novels. Along side with The Notebook, The Last Song, etc. The ending is very unexpected. Overall good.
