    Safe Haven

    Safe Haven was probably one of the best movies i have ever seen. Then again, it was a Nicholas Sparks movie, so obviously it was amazing (:

    Sweet movie!

    Although somewhat predictable, there were lots of surprises. The underlying story was a thriller, but the love story that develops was heartwarming. I say it's a must-see!

    AMAZING!

    If you are up for a romantic movie GO! this was so touching and one of the BEST movies ive seen in a while. Im acualy going to have to buy this movie!!! And Josh was as cute as ever!:)

    Great Chick Flick

    I dragged my husband to the movie yesterday. And surprisingly, he did not hate it. While this movie is not The Notebook, it was really good. It is a perfect movie to go see with your girl friends.

    Hang on to your emotions!!

    Absolutely fantastic! Great story and interesting to watch. My wife passed away unexpectedly a few years ago and I went to watch this with my 12 year old son. Had us both squirming a bit! Thought there would be a little more to the climax but still very good. Anyone will love this movie and DID NOT expect the twist at the end!! Wow!

    Safe Haven

    We saw this show on a Saturday night and it was excellent. I love the main characters and the story line was fantastic. I have been a fan of Josh Duhmel's since his All My Children days and Julienne, in my opinion, showed that she is a serious actor as well as an incredible dancer. The kids were so cute! I highly recommend this movie for a date night - or any other night! The town it take place in looks like a vacation spot that I would want to check out. The ending will really surprise you!!

    Starts out a little boring, however it is one of the best Movies out in this Country today. First standing ovation and applause I have seen in a theater for 30 yrs

    WHAT WAS THAT ENDING?

    I didn't feel it was necessary to reveal the friend she made was actually the ghost of his wife. It turned what seemed to be a great romantic tale into some weird ghost story. And it changed how I felt about the entire film.

    Otherwise, the movie was great. I felt the two leading actors had great on-screen chemistry and the characters were well developed.

    Adorable

    Safe Haven is one of the movies that can only be described as adorable. It wasn?t amazing, yet it wasn?t awful either. The thing that disappointed me the most was that it wasn?t really like the book. Now, I get that a lot of Nicholas Sparks? books aren?t similar to the movie, but I don?t know.. this one was a lot different. Although I must say, the movie itself is very fast paced, filled to the brim with drama, romance, and action… meaning your man will probably like it, too.

    The beautiful Julianne Hough, whom I absolutely love, played the main character Katie. I thought she did a good job in this role. Not excellent, first off because I thought they made her look to ?prettied up? for the role of a quiet, hidden, lost girl who is running away from her husband, but it?s Hollywood… what are you gonna do… Josh Duhamel played Alex, the love interest of Katie and a single Dad of two. I thought he was great as this role. Also, the actress who played Alex?s daughter was outstanding!

    Boring, poor acting, too long

    I feel that between a badly written script, bad acting (except for the little girl who plays the daughter), and the need to stretch this out made for a horrible combination.

    It was good.

    I thought it was a good movie, but i wish i hadn't read the book first. There were a LOT of differences between the book and the movie. But it was still good.

    One of the better NS adaptations

    I took my guy friend with me to see this movie and even he was able to enjoy it because of the thriller aspect and the adorable kids in the film. If you're a Nicholas Sparks fan, you must go, and others will enjoy the chemistry between the two main characters as well.

    Guys, take her to see this movie...

    I enjoyed this movie. It was not outstanding but it was good and the story kept you interested. My daughter read the book and said their were some notable differences but the overall story wasn't changed. The two main characters worked well together on screen. Good chemistry. Go see the movie - take your wife, girlfriend or daughter - you'll get points for doing so!
    Having raised two daughters, my Man Card has been nearly confiscated a number of times so I know of what I speak!

    Dumbest Movie Ever

    I shouldn't have been surprised that a Nicholas Sparks film was lacking any real character development or substance, but this one went beyond terrible. It's like a Nicholas Sparks/M Knight Shyamalan cocktail with the worst possible results.

    it was not the best but not a bad movie

    safe haven has a real simple plot, girl runs away to new city falls in love with local guy. little does he know she has a secret past that shes running from. the movie kind of drags out and never seems to pick up until the end . but the movie was not boring. plus the ending does have a crazy twist. i would say i enjoyed it but didnt love it. it great as a date movie
