    Safe Haven

    We saw this show on a Saturday night and it was excellent. I love the main characters and the story line was fantastic. I have been a fan of Josh Duhmel's since his All My Children days and Julienne, in my opinion, showed that she is a serious actor as well as an incredible dancer. The kids were so cute! I highly recommend this movie for a date night - or any other night! The town it take place in looks like a vacation spot that I would want to check out. The ending will really surprise you!!

    Safe Haven

    Starts out a little boring, however it is one of the best Movies out in this Country today. First standing ovation and applause I have seen in a theater for 30 yrs

    SAFE HAVEN WAS AMAZING

    I listened to the book on CD and once I heard the twist at the end, I said through my tears... this will make such a great movie... and a month later I heard they were making the movie!!! I called it and I am so thrilled with how it turned out. It was only slow for a moment and the music and scenery pulled me right back in. Love Love Love everything about it!

    Safe Haven

    This was such a great date nite movie. Has things in it for the guys and the girls. I will be buying the DVD when it comes out. Loved it very much.

    Safe Haven

    Having vacationed on the Outer Banks of North Carolina for 10 years, I know that this was a totallyu realistic movie. It hadf a great plot, great actors,greating acting, and a beautiful location.

    Just excellent!

    We really enjoyed this movie! Josh Duhamel & Julianne Hough were excellent together, good chemistry. The surprise ending just added to the story. What do you go to the movies for except to be entertained and this movie certainly does that. We had a good time and I wouldn't mind seeing it again!

    a must go

    outstanding romanatic, funny, and unpredictable movie and excellent outdoors scenes. from the previews, was expecting a better fight scene. the flow of the movie was super. will cause tears, laughter, and the desire to visit the most southern NC beaches. movie slowed for about 10 minutes in the middle. will buy when it comes out on DVD.

    Hang on to your emotions!!

    Absolutely fantastic! Great story and interesting to watch. My wife passed away unexpectedly a few years ago and I went to watch this with my 12 year old son. Had us both squirming a bit! Thought there would be a little more to the climax but still very good. Anyone will love this movie and DID NOT expect the twist at the end!! Wow!

    Similar to the book

    I do love reading books that have become movies just to see the difference..this one was very close to the book. There were a few minor differences but otherwise absolutely follwed the Nickolas Sparks novel :)

    Great Movie to Watch With Your Girlfriend/Boyfriend

    Overall it was a great movie. Very interesting and romantic. I really liked the twist/mystery shown towards the end. It was pretty cool. Great movie to watch with your wife, husband, boyfriend/girlfriend. Recommend!!!

    Not only does this movie barely crawl but its ending insults your intelligence. To say that it comes out of context and is rediculous is being very, very kind.

    Took the wife and we both love the movie. Then again, it is a Nick Sparks film. If you are into his stories, it is a must see. If not, catch when you can.

    Amazing romantic & thrilling movie with a twist to it. My husband & I enjoyed this movie. It is not just a chick flick but also a couples movie. Very romantic as well!! Kuddo's to Nicholas Sparks for this great book and movie!

    Kind of like the book...

    Saw Safe Haven last night and I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. As far as movies go, this was great! The acting is believable, the setting is gorgeous and the music is so beyond perfect, it literally left me speechless sometimes! But for a film adaptation of a Nicholas Sparks novel, it sucked. They changed character names, changed some story lines and didn't really develop Katie's character nearly as much as they should have. It is a story about a woman starting over after an abusive marriage, but they spend so much time leading up to that and making you think she's a criminal that the "big reveal" of Katie's past was really anticlimactic. I found myself thinking, "WHAT?? That's it?" They should have made Katie's character more vulnerable as she is written in the book. Julianne Hough did a good job, but portrayed a different Katie than the one in the book.

    All in all, Safe Haven was totally enjoyable, thrilling, and perfectly romantic movie, but not as good as the book!
