    Mirror Mirror

    by Rozieg

It was good but not spectacular. I expected more there were scenes that just hung at the end and left us hanging as well. It was a cute movie, not enough sinister from Julia. But my granddaughter liked it and I guess that's what counts.

    Mirror

Pure fantasy entertainment. This was a great movie for a sisters' day out! We all needed good laughs and some escape from the every day world. Felt refreshed and happy as I left the theatre. Just don't leave until the credits are over or you miss a great ending song and dance.

I thought it was well made and a great story. My daughter and her friend absolutely loved it. I WILL definitely tell others about it. I was very pleased with NOT seeing all the sex stuff and hearing all the language that comes out of movies these days. The movie was a huge hit for me. I wish more movies were made this way.

    Mirror Mirror

    by Jastect

This was a very sweet movie for young girls. My 10-year old loved it! I was slightly bored.

There were some nice touches of female empowerment. The different take on the dwarves was a nice lesson in prejudice and misjudgment. The sarcasm from Julia Robert's evil Queen was fun. This was a pretty film to watch with pretty actors and decent acting.

I loved the short appearance of Sean Bean - my fave from Game of Thrones.

    Great Movie

I was an optomist not wanting to see this movie but then it turned out to be a great movie. Julie Roberts as the evil queen was funny and the twist on queen with the apple was great. A definate must see and watch over & over once it comes on DVD.

It was a cute show and good story. I liked all the characters and thought they played their roll well. And costumes were beautiful, almost makes me wish we lived in that time (almost)

Better than I thought It Would Be.

It's a family movie. Don't go into the theater expecting an absolutely amazing movie, but do expect a fairly funny, enjoyable film. Lily Collins is a great Snow White, Army Hammer is a dashing prince, and the dwarfs may look annoying, but they're actually a good addition to the movie. I suggest it as a movie to see with your kids or a "just to pass the time" movie.

    TWISTED

    by imv38

I loved Mirror Mirror due to it being the 'adult' version of Snow White!

It is a bit of a twisted movie but entertaining!

I loved Julia Roberts as the witch/queen, great job!

But over all actors were great, the Prince, Snow White, the dwarfs are to die for, etc.!

The costumes and scenery was great.

Overall, I enjoyed it and recommended to everyone!

    Mirror, Mirror

Fun but mainly thanks to Julia Robert's contributions. Prince Charming came across as weay too gay to be credible in the role opposite Snow White.

    "Ever After" is wasn't.

    Mirror Mirror

I (I am 53) took my 19 year old niece to this movie. We both thought that it was really funny! It did have some "slow" spots. But very cute and we laughed nearly all the way through! I read some reviews in the paper before going. But I don't agree with any of the negative reviews.

    Very Bland

took my 10 year old twins and hubby to see it. Hubby fell asleep. The kids were bored to death. I'm not sure what the focus age group was on this movie but it left me a little bland.

The costumes were amazing. That was the only redeeming quality.

    Dressed to kill!

It was a charming, if bit rowdy, update to old classic. But original Grimm's were also a bit black. But the pomp and circumstance was great... fabulous Julia, in all her glory! BTW the kids in the audience LOVED it!

    Enchanting Mirror Mirror

What an enchanting film Mirror Mirror is. The costumes are perfect for a fairy tale. Such lush colors and patterns! A feast for the eyes. I truly enjoyed the cast members. I think they were well chosen for the parts they played. A nice diversion on an afternoon.

    Fun Family Friendly fairy tale

    by

Based on critics reviews, I thought the movie would be okay. Then I saw the trailer. I thought the movie looked great, but then again, trailers sometimes look goos when they are so not. So I bought the movie, and I have to say, if you like fairy tales and Julia Roberts, watch this movie. If you don't really like fairy tales, you'll think this movie is okay. Unless you like, really hate fairy tales. I watch this movie over and over again. Julia Roberts was pretty funny and everything looked beautiful and mystical and the special effects were great. It's a nice spin on the original Grimm's fairy tale (and the weird part is is that there is someone named Grimm appearing in this story) A-!

Didn't live up to its potential

As the lighter of the Snow White offerings this year, I expected this film to be funnier than it was. The biggest laughs were all spoiled in the trailer. The film had long stretches of seriousness between laughs. It suffered from a bit of an identity crisis. Fine matinee fare, but don't spend premium $$ on it.
