    not good enough

I can't imagine why the lines to see this movie. Very promising first half with excellent action scenes and exciting moments. They must have changed the writers for the second half. Predictable, stupid scenes. It was as if a completely different movie was on the screen. I can't understand how they could not make a better second half with what they were developing in the first half. Great, exciting, interesting first half. Flat, boring and stupid second part.

Not the bubble-gum Bond of the past

Daniel Craig in his 3rd time in the role of James Bond provides a deeper, more meaningful portrayal of the action/hero/spy/ladies man. This story is smart and action packed -- and somehow much more "realistic" than Bond stories of the past. The dialog is witty and the story flows well.

Definitely worth seeing on the big screen!

    A Thrill A Minute

SkyFall was fabulous! If you are looking for entertainment, this is it!
I liked how the movie portrayed Bond and M in a way that showed their vulnerabilities and
feelings. I intend to see this movie again. There are so many parts that almost make you jump right out of your seat. Quite a few great one-liners, too. I highly recommend this movie. You are sure to love it!

    Bond Does Not Disappoint!!!!

    by nmkrk90

From start to finish, Skyfall is a great movie. Just enough of everything (action, emotions, suspense, humor, etc) to keep you engaged. Visually, the movie is a feast for the senses. I thought all the actors were cast perfectly. Makes me excited for the next installment.

The rating of the movie is fair. If you typically allow your child (10 and above) to see action movies, Skyfall is fine for them to view. Yes there is a lot of action and Bond-style killing, but nothing over-the-top gruesome. And the language and sexual nature is kept to a minimum.

    Fun Movie!

It was fun to see on a Friday afternoon after a long days' work. The cast looked familiar, but the storyline was new. The variety of stunts and locations kept everyone awake and on the edge of their seats. It was worth the money.

    A must see 007 movie.

    by

The story line was really well thought out and executed well. The movie seemed to drag a bit towards the end, but the suspense was great. Not exactly as good as Casino Royale in my opinion, but still a really good movie. Can't wait 'till I can add this to my movie collection!

    Good All Around

Good action throughout (not too over the top), casting was great (especially Javier Bardem as Sliva), and the plot's development and foundation for future Bond films was crafty. Sad to see Judi Dench go, but Ralph Fiennes is a welcome replacement. I have seen all the actors that have played Bond, Daniel Craig is by far the best in my opinion.

    Best Bond

This was one of the best Bonds in the series with lots of action but a plot to match. If you don't like change you will not enjoy the movie.

Like 007"s Aston Martin, Skyfall Fires On All Cylinders

One would think that after half a century, we had seen all the gadgets, visited all the locales and experienced all of the Bond Girls. This dynamic and modernly intelligent entry into the Bond franchise retains the charm of early Bond films while continuing to explore the history of the world's favorite spy. After fifty years, Sam Mendez and Daniel Craig remind us why we still love, Bond...James Bond.

    Bad Bond

Absurdity is piled on top of absured in this Bond flick. To cite a few: An evil computer genius who can penetrate the world's most secure computers, doesn't bother to check a captured bond for a radio transmitter. The head of the one of the world's most powerful spy agencies with thousands of heavily armed police, "protects herself" from assassination by fleeing to an isolated house with a single agent with her. Equally bad, Daniel Craig looks about 20 years too old for the role, and has about as much charisma and humor as a can of spam. Bad, bad Bond.

    AWESOME

I am not a big 007 fan. I am now! I loved the humanity and depth of the relationships shown over the past couple of movies.

    More than excellent!

First of all this movie is WELL DONE! Absolutely no complaints! Plenty of action, the characters are spot on and the plot keeps you glued! And the scenes in different countries were spectacular! Do NOT miss this movie!

    Best Bond film EVER!!!

Daniel Craig, quite simply, is James Bond. One doesn't watch him in a portrayal of the character. Mr. Craig owns the role. What a treat this film became, as I watched it unfurl. The psychological analyses of the principals was evident, layered seamlessly over the action. I do not have enough thumbs to represent my opinion. Rest assured, if I had 100, they'd all be UP.
Go see "Skyfall" today. Adele singing is almost reason enough, among so many more.

    Sky-ugh

Of the three Daniel Craig Bond movies, this one I liked least. I didn't hate it but it just didn't have the electricity the previous movies had....I feel this movie was all about the re-boot. First, Daniel Craig looks great from the neck down, but in this third movie that face is aging badly. Just not the suave looking Bond of the past Bond men and it's time to re-cast. Christian bale, John Hamm, and Clive Owen, are good choices but they are too old already. Michael Fassbender, Damian Lewis, & Sam Worthington...maybe? But I think the best choice is Chris Hemsworth even though he is Australian. Chris Hemsworth would bring back the attitude of the original Bond movies staring Sean Connery. Second, there was only one really great action sequence and that was at the very beginning of the movie. This movie appeared to be on a budget. Where was the glitz and spectacle? Third, the ending was like a balloon loosing air...dull.

    Best Bond ever?

Javier Bardem is SUPERB in "Skyfall", stealing scenes from Daniel Craig as only a world-class villain can. What has made the Bond franchise great is its villains, as much as Bond, women, and catchy songs - This one performed beautifully by Adele...Overwhelming action sequences and a wild ride that goes on and on without being TOO long - "Skyfall" is a feast for the senses, without being preachy.
