    Good But Many Plot Holes

    First of all the whole family enjoyed this movie. There was lots of action and beautiful locations. The female members of the group always enjoy seeing Daniel Craig. Having said that, there are a lot of plot holes that caused some of the group to be confused (duplicate bullet holes and a sort of home alone scenario.) Go you'll enjoy it but don't expect logic and a clear plot.

    Skyfall

    Well worth it, a must see on the big screen. I love all Bond movies
    The acting was excellent, cinematography was fantastic. It was the most different Bond yet.

    Bond movies are just not the same :(

    Bond movies are just not the same without all the gadgets! Bond used to be like McGiver on steroids but skyfall fell short for me. Got boring towards the end. Its a rental. Javier Bardem though, was exceptional as Silva. A villan with a sense of humor. Great acting!

    Classic Bond Formula

    Another exciting bond story with the usual heroic stunts and beautiful women. The new Q is quite good, and will be fun to watch in future shows. The stunts and special effects are spectacular, especially the subway derailment and the eerie effect of the damage to the antagonist's teeth from a failed cyanide attempt. Nothing new in this story, but classic Bond ... and Daniel Craig is just as good as Sean Connery. IMO, he is the first worthy successor to Connery as 007.

    Carries on the Bond tradition ...

    Not bad.
    One of the reasons I always like the 007 series is that they are just corny enough to be fun.
    This one isn't quite there as it tries to take itself a bit too serious, but I'm still glad that I saw it.

    All the Bond elements are there and it is a good one!

    Bond fans must go and see the tweaks and franchise moves. This time Bond isn't saving the world. He's saving MI6. More action and less Bond women, though.
    Javier Bardem is confident & creepy and the stunts are the best in a long while.
    Mendes tells a flowing story with great shots of Shaghai, creat chase scenes, a tough underwater scene, and if you scared of heights he plays on that, too.
    Way better than the last Bond and many future seeds are planted.
    Full price okay.

    Going Back In Time

    I really looked forward to this movie. It was not as interesting or exciting as the three or four Bond movies before it. I realized this is because it is a transition film. They put the inept female agent behind a desk. They portrayed the female M who didn't believe in Bond and made a decision that weakened him physically as inept and a poor shot. Also she made him cry which makes him weak emotionally. Then he became just another guy who promised a victim of human trafficking help, but got her injured and then killed in the end. After this he says her death is just a "waste of good scotch". The "sexist, misogynistic dinosaur" is back. He's an unpleasant fellow and a bore. He's the reason I could never watch more than half an hour of a Sean Connery or Roger Moore Bond film without falling asleep. RIP Bond. You really did die in the beginning of the film. On a positive note, I am very grateful this was a free movie ticket and I didn't spend any money to see this.

    COULD HAVE STAYED HOME AND WATCHED SHOWTIME..

    I say so so as Daniel Craig is a fairly good actor and somewhat pleasing to watch. After all the hype to sell this movie, it was a letdown for sure. I fell asleep on and off after the opening sequence. I doubt I would go to see any more Bond films. Will wait for them to hit my movie channel at home. Waste of money at the theatre.......

    I have been a Bond fan for over 30 years. This is definitely a must see! They do a great job tying in some of the old information with the new plot!

    007 directors have forgotten what makes bond

    I think the directors have forgotten the reason we come to see 007 is for his cool gadets, his ability to seduce the woman and lets not forget his cars full of surprises. Bourne Identity James bond is not and should try to be. There was more action and gadets in spy kids. I tried to get my oldest son excited to about 007 the way my Dad and I use too. How will he ever escape? What new toy will get him out of danager. The 007 franchise is not only losing me but my 17 year was completely let down and could believe this was a movie I would bring him too.

    Shaken but not stirred

    James Bond's Skyfall was kinda like those X-men, Batman or Hanibal origin franchise movies where at some point you get a historic perspective about the character. Hardcore Bond fans like myself love it because we always wondering how a character came to be but newbies probably found it a bit too cerebral for their tastes. Craig is a good bond whereas Roger Moore was too spoofy and un-athletic to pull it off. What I thought was deeper still is that Bond hinted at being bi-sexual or at least try-sexual when he was tied to that chair. Thiink that scene will ever happen? Give new mean to double-Oh. lol

    Bring back Sean Connery

    Die hard Bond fans might like this movie. I thought it was a 2 1/2 hour bore. I should have saved $15 and seen something else. Missing were the exotic locations ,the gadgets, action and a plot. Daniel Craig looked tired through the movie.The movie spent the last 30 minutes blowing up an old mansion.Javier Bardem plays the villain not very convincingly .Missing was the coin toss and CO2 canister(whatever it was) from ?No Country for Old Men?.If he had it in this movie it would have been the best gadget. To be fair if you saw the action in the trailers don?t expect much more.The movie was ½ hour too long.The theater I saw it in was packed. There were plenty of people nodding off and a few people did exit early.

    Deeply disappointing

    Let me begin by saying that I've pretty much enjoyed every Bond movie I've ever seen.

    Skyfall is a complete stinker. It's a campy montage of Bond movies past. Weak female characters (i.e., none of them can shoot well; none of them are mysterious/intriguing; each one's contribution to the "plot" is their weakness/failures/etc.).

    The plot was ridiculous...I'm all for the suspension of disbelief when it comes to Bond movies, but this was just beyond absurd. Flat performance by Daniel Craig. Literally, the best part of the movie was Adele's "Skyfall" during the opening credits. Even though this will undoubtedly be a box-office smash, this is easily the worst, most forgettable Bond movie I've ever seen.

    Don't go. It will just make you angry.

    Bond ... raw

    As Bond movies go, this one is stripped of all glitter, fantasy, high tech, futuristic gadgets plots or villains, and is simple, strong, violent and ... raw.

    Despite the omage paid to the franchise (the Aston Martin, the characters - MonyPenney, Q, M -,and the usual jaunting around the world, thw movie is so basic, that leaves a bit of an unfinished taste ...

    I a a big fanon the films, and I did enjoythis one, but I can't wait for the next one ... you know what mean!?

    new flavor to James Bond

    i was rather impressed because i went to this movie expecting the normal James Bond style movie however Skyfall seemed to have a darker thyme and dove deeper in to James' past, Skyfall also really exposed alot about the character development of James Bond of the decades.
