    old School mixed with new

    by GinaC00

Loved, Loved this one, I have watched everyone of the Bond Films probably a few a little more then the others, born and raised on them, have to say Skyfall had the feel of the older ones mixed in with the coolness of the new versions, hard to grasp yonger and newer people stepping into tilmless roles but it worked and fit, sooo much more of a story line, and as usual Bond never dissappoints.

Skyfall - in RPX - Regal Premium Experience

Daniel Craig in a superb Bond! Great opening chase scene.
Javier Bardem adds a nice touch as a twisted villain.
Adele's theme is exceptional on the RPX sound system!
Loved the nods to retro Bond.
Overall a great addition to the James Bond Tradition.

    Skyfall

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was filled with unbelievable action scenes and special effects, some good plot twists, and gave a peek at the humanity of MI6. Thank goodness the director has given us a number of scenes to enjoy Daniel Craig's well-sculpted body! By all means, go see it. You leave pumped with adrenaline!

    Chicken Little can Relax

    by edfinn

After "Quantum of Solace" many, including me, thought the sky was falling as regards the James Bond franchise. However, Daniel Craig has saved the day with his insistence that the new film, "Skyfall" recapture some of the fun of the classic Sean Connery films. This incarnation of Bond hits a home run. Great action. Great acting. Lots of references to the classic Bond. And humor - lots of it. If you've ever enjoyed any of the Bond films, I strongly suggest you get out to the theater and see this one on the big screen. Already, I can hardly wait for the next one.

    Really Excellent!

Best Bond movie in years. Dench is brilliant, Javier Bardem is an inspired baddie, and they seem to have put real effort into building the infrastructure of secondary characters for future films.

My only criticisms concerned the standard (nowadays) movie awe for computer geniuses. No, the world can't really be taken over by an especially clever hacker using only his laptop.

    A Fresh Start

I was super psyched for Skyfall and for good reason. It's not your typical James Bond movie. My husband pointed-out that there wasn't a true 'Bond Girl' in this one. That didn't bother me, because the action, content and back-story were well worth the buzz. Skyfall really sets the tone for several James Bond movies to come. I have to say that I love the new Q; his voice is gave me chills. The action was awesome; the first scene was one of the best I've seen yet. I love the song by Adele, and the opening credits were true to form. Go see it......mostly because Daniel Craig is amazing:-)

    Love Bond!

But this movie wasn't wow. It was good and worth the watch for sure but I was expecting a WOW this time. The story line was a good one. I love Adel and the SkyFall song.
Go see it in theaters for sure. Redbox won't do it justice.

For kids, it has the typical "Bond" scenes but no detail.

Daniel Craig is great as were his support. The villian is disgusting as usual.

Best Bond Film I have seen in years

First of all this has been one of the best Bond films I have seen.

I thought they couldn't top Casino Royale and QOS but I was wrong.

Go see it, its worth it.

    I'm over it

    by rob0422

007 movies are great bc of the action and cinematography. There was nothing new or exciting about this rendition. There was too much dialogue and the female protogonsity and the star had zero chemistry.

    Worst of The Bond Movies

Here is a movie that shot their whole budget in the first 15 minutes of the opening, leading you to believe you're going to be in for a wild ride of excitement. After the first 15 minutes you can leave and spare yourself the balance of time left for this pathetic, patchy, dark BOMB of a movie. Shot in Shanghai and Turkey, Daniel Craig wonders around these dark scenes pursued by this villain who can't be killed. There are some throw backs to help jog your memory from some old Bond films, but make no mistake, the best part of this movie is when it ends and you can leave this trite, boring film.

    Skyfall

    by

In many ways, James Bond goes back to his roots in Skyfall. I saw this with my wife as part of our annual New Year's Eve treat and we both thoroughly enjoyed this fast paced movie with a message. The theme it explores is quite separate from the Bond saga - what does it mean to grow old and no longer be suited to the job which was your whole identity. Both M and Bond face this dilemma and both deal with it in different ways. Superb storytelling and excellent acting combine to make a film that stands on its own outside the genre but contains plenty of the tried and tested elements that make Bond a perennial favorite.

    Skyfall

Really liked the movie. Lots of action and suspense. Saw it twice. At one point, (walking on the beach) Daniel looked a little stiff. Really would have like to have seen who saved from from death by bullet and drowning. Action and Adventure is the name of the game.

    Not as Good as Expected

It was one long chase, with a bare bones plot. Too much shooting, darkness, confusion. I much preferred "Casino Royale", which had a better traditional Bond feel.

    Skyfall

While "Casino Royale" still is the best in the Daniel Craig Bond series, Skyfall is just below it. The story was fantastic, Craig once again shines and old friends return!!! I can't recommend this movie enough!

Skyfall-ing somewhere in the middle for me

    by

Skyfall marks Daniel Craig's third take on the classic Bond character and he brings much the same this time around as he has the first two times: that icy demeanor, ruthless stares, and unbelievable ways to take down a group of villains. That being said, Skyfall is certainly better than Quantum of Solace which was good, but definitely no where near as satisfying and exciting as Casino Royale. Casino will always be the recipient of some measure of fondness because of its original direction with the Bond films (i.e. picking up from the beginning and showing the formation of the 007 we've all come to know). I was hoping that Skyfall would capture some more of that magic than it did, but it had more than enough to justify going to the theaters to see it. To a certain extent the movie seemed like a bit of an effort to keep the seat warm for the next Bond film, introducing some new faces and what not. While perhaps Skyfall is not the absolute best Bond movie, it is really quite good.
