Thought the movie was fantastic. It was good to get back to "old" Bond and learn about his past. Sad to see M die. The humor was a nice addition also, A definite must see.

    Skyfall reaches the sky!

    by kbarbee

The best Bond movie since Casino Royale in my opinion. Bond is more human, more believable in this story. I'm sorry to hear that this may be Craig's last movie, though. He has added so much more to the Bond character. In my estimation, he and Sean Connery are the only true Bonds.

Highly recommended; couldn't say that about Quantum. Skyfall has a good plot with lots of action and a surprise ending. A few questions still need to be answered but all told I'd see it again in a heartbeat.

    SkyFall

a fun movie for those uninitiated with the Bond franchise. For Bond fans, it is ridiculously awesome, with a wonderful homage to the past and a bright future!

    Wild action scenes, good plot

I really enjoyed this movie. I haven't seen a Bond film in years, but I was really liked the "pschycadelic" opening credits; they remind me of a 70's Bond movie, for example Live & Let Die. I like the new Bond actor, Daniel Craig, good rugged male action figure, excellent in the fight scenes. I would thoroughly recommend this movie!!

    Melancholic

    by

I loved it. The story line was interesting, the cinematography was spectacular, and my only negative thought is about the lack of high tech gadget toys.

James Bond is more exciting then ever. A lot more blow-em-up and big scenes like that. Not as much as the suave, sexy Bond that I prefer but it was really good. Surprise ending and maybe a little too long, but it was worth all the hoopla--sold out and packed theaters. Bond, as always is the greatest spy ever!!!!!

    Just OK

This movie was jgood although defintely not as good as the previews and critics made it out to be; it wasn't my favorite Bond of the Daniel Craig era.

    Got to go!

You have got to go see Skyfall. After a typical "bond-like" beginning chase scene, it settles down into a great story that surprisingly puts things back into a familiar perspective.

    Skyfall

Daniel Craig is approaching 007 icon status right behind Sean Connery with his gritty portrayals of Bond. Skyfall scratches another layer off who Bond is with a compelling story and the most villainous villain yet in Raoul Silva. Keeping Javier Bardem's creepy character in the background until halfway through the movie deserves an Oscar for the screenwriters. On par with Casino Royale.

AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR JAMES BOND LOVERS!

Daniel Craig is an incredible actor but I felt was totally miscast as the dashing, elegant special agent "007,James Bond"; he lacked the debonair, savoir faire, Lothario charm and beauty of his predecessors; his female interactions hovered at the wham/bam level. He excelled as the robotic, mechanical slayer of evil miscreants, but lacked the instincts of a man who felled women with a single glance...

"Skyfall" is one of the finest action films in recent years: magnificently, thrillingly filmed; award-worthy cinematography; gone are the ubiquitous cliches, dated double entendres, casual, blase intimacies (one exception that is justified); now audiences are treated to a playing field where men and women are on par with each other...

    FOUR & 1/2 STARS!!!!

I love the movie , the only hold back was the train scene. I wish bond was never (killed). It made over one billion, in world wide box office sales. So it must have been good.

    Bond at His Best!

Skyfall is an excellent part of the James Bond legend. There is great action that moves the plot forward in meaningful ways. There is a sense of elegance and sass that is present throughout in some very smart dialog. Best of all, and I don't know if they did this because of the 50th anniversary, there are clever homages and reprises of some classic Bond items and story-lines. This movie is great for those who are new or recently exposed to Mr. Bond and for those, like me, who have been following his adventures for years.

This version of 007 was a bit different than the others and more indepth with the characters.
I loved the contrast to the gagetry and action ~ very well done!! Daniel Craig and Judy Dench are top notch.

loved the action AND enjoyed the plot!

    by tz75

I admit, not a big Bond fan. I don't dislike the movies, but I am far from a die hard . This movie will appeal to everyone. The action sequences were imaginative and breathtaking and while the plot did take some jumps and leaps and left gaps, it was still a good part of the movie as well. I would see it again, even though I know the ending....
