    Skyfall

    by ew395

Unlike expected 007 movie, it was filled with violence only with no wits and wow's. James Bod is dirty looking and old with some traumatic past childhood experience, not sexy British spy with futuristic electronic gadgets. Generally, it was a drag and boring. The girls are not so attractive either. It's a film with mundane violence. It's a no-go.

    LOVED it!

Haven't missed a Bond movie yet and agree with the critics that this was one of the best, if not THE best, of the lot. Daniel Craig is the perfect Bond, able thrill with unbelievable action while also bringing to the screen the vulnerability of Bond, the humaness that has been missing in the past.

    My Favorite!

Smart, sexy, action-packed and super fun. This Bond movie was my favorite in this series with Daniel Craig. Finally he showed some real emotion...but the action kept the tempo humming. It was a great movie to see with my husband. We both had a great movie experience.

The Worst James Bond Film Ever

If you want to go and watch a perpetual war scene, this is your movie. I much prefer the traditional James Bond films. This was so bad that 4 James Bond fanatics almost walked out.

Fun romp - just don't bring your brain

    by nstuff

Fun and entertaining movie all around as long as you keep your brain turned off. Craig did a better job in this movie with owning the persona of James Bond, but his womanizing still feels forced and the script allows his "charms" to work every time when they most likely wouldn't have. Bad guy did a good job but I think could have been used a lot more. Without giving spoilers, the plot is overly complicated for the sake of it when the end result ended up making most of the complicated steps unnecessary.

I'm fine with lots of twists and turns, but at the end of the movie and I look back at what all has been done, I hate it when I have to say "why did they have to do all that when they could have done X or Y at the very beginning and be done with it?" Had no parallels that I could see from the prior Quantum of Solace movie. No resolution of some of the big plots they created there.

    Bond: From the "Begining"

If you have seen (& liked) Daniel Craig as James Bond, then this movie is both an Homage to the past & a Mobius strip whereby the end begins again! Sound Convoluted? It is, but it's Action all through, Javier Bardem's performance as the villan was Superb. You won't be Bored unless AThat's Your Thing.

    Skyfall 007

I'm not much of Bond fan...I went with my husband because he wanted to see an action flick. I wasn't too impressed. The action scenes were great but there was not as much action as expected (more plot than action). And it felt as long as it actually was!

    SkyFall

This version of 007 was a bit different than the others and more indepth with the characters.
I loved the contrast to the gagetry and action ~ very well done!! Daniel Craig and Judy Dench are top notch.

    Skyfall

The movie was great. Just goes to show you, they can put out a great movie without a lot of trash. Almost no swearing and the fleshy scenes were kept to a respectable minimum.

    SkyFall is a Winner

After being somewhat disappointed by Quantum of Solace, I had high hopes for the new 007 installment to return to the action and excitement of Casino Royale. SkyFall did not fail to deliver. This was a nod to classic bond and Javier Bardem was AMAZING! He plays a villain like no other.

    SKYFALL

Fantastic!!!! One of the best bond films ever. Can see set up for future bond movies. Will miss Judy Dench as M, but will wait to see how Finnes pans out. Daniel Craig is now a season BOND with this movie. Can't wait for the next installment!

    Skyfall

We were a little disappointed by this bond movie. Not as action packed as his last one. The theme was around aging and he looked aged for sure. Not impressed with this one and I am a long time, forever time bond fan.

    The hidden past of 007...

Skyfall presents Bond at a depth which he has rarely been seen. A cliffhanger opening leads to a journey into Bond's distant past where no audience has seen him. The double-O agent has encounters with varied characters from different chapters of his life. We see the return of two of Bond's closest allies "for the first time". And James puts his mettle to the test as he fights against Time's inevitable effect on his skill as a spy and a soldier. The story builds on the foundations of the early Bond films, bringing classic elements into play of style, intrigue, technology, and peril. Buckle up and hold on for the drop into Skyfall.

    Skyfall - Best Bond ever

Of the Daniel Craig trilogy as Bond - by far his best one! Skyfall itself was phenomenal. No flashes over the top gadgets like previous Bond movies, but just pure skill and smarts! Would pay to see it again and again!
