Thought the movie was fantastic. It was good to get back to "old" Bond and learn about his past. Sad to see M die. The humor was a nice addition also, A definite must see.

    Not up to Bond snuff

Tried to create an intrest in Q and bond's relationship. Didn't quite work. If you are a real bond fan might as well see it. If not Pass on it.

    Exciting From Start to Finish

The graphics were spectacular. Mind-blowing sequences throughout the movie. However, I would have liked James Bond was more than a superhero, fighting machine. I think the film could have used some romance and better development of the characters.

    new flavor to James Bond

    by JW59615

i was rather impressed because i went to this movie expecting the normal James Bond style movie however Skyfall seemed to have a darker thyme and dove deeper in to James' past, Skyfall also really exposed alot about the character development of James Bond of the decades.

    Great, Classic Bond

The movie was great. I loved every minute. It tied up loose ends and bought the series with Daniel Craig full circle. I can not wait to see the next installmenet.

Excellent film. The image of Bond is more realistic and Daniel Craig offers an honest performance - as do the others in the film. Can't find any objection to anyones' performance. The directing was spot on as was the cinematography. The editing also deserves a thumbs up! Alway amazes one when the script writer puts it together so well. Really a movie to experience more than once. I thorougly enjoyed it. 'nuff said!

    Critics over rated it

    by flajoe

This was definitely not one of the top 5 Bonds of all time.

Javier Bardem steals the movie otherwise it would have been a total bore

    Skyfall

Right from the beginning I felt like I was missing something about our hero Bond, what happened to him. The action was none stop intense, I had to remind myself to breath. As always, intense situations, oh those fears of heights. It is another Bond movie that has broken away into its own format, yet there are always reminders of the past. Great movie, but it will take about three viewings before I have seen everything that is going on. Great action movie for the kids as well. If you love Bond, this is another must see!

    SKYFALL is Good

2.75 out of 5 Stars for me. Enjoyed it. The setting of this double notch MI6Flick is today. There is tech involved, but this is one of the most un-tech Bond movies thus far. There's even a minimum of adult oriented content. If it wasn't Bond, it would be just another story weave of intrigue, car chase and action...sorta. The producers clearly decided to get rid of anything "Old-Bond"- Skyfall is clearly new Bond and post the Ian Fleming books.

I'd say it's an interim story refit. Next one(s) will hopefully be..more within the new groove this film set up.

    Slow Start, but Great Finish!

    by DerekEA

I liked the film overall, but it started kind of slow for me.

For a Bond Film, there was hardly any sexual content, but I wouldn't take young children for the violence and some graphic scenes depicting the villain.

The acting was good, but the villain could have been better. Definitely worth going.

Some excellent tributes to "Classic Bond" -- Top notch directing

Very good movie -- though not the best Bond ever -- no one does it like Connery, in this writer's opinion. However, Daniel Craig is very good and Skyfall does not disappoint. Frequent Bond-watchers will enjoy the many "shout outs" to classic Bond and even the main villain seems right out of the 1960's era gallery of bad guys. I would have liked a little more kitschy humor -- that's always part of Bond for me. The movie is long, but not so much that you're looking at your watch -- everything moves along. The directing is certainly world class -- the sequences shot in a skyscraper in Shanghai were among the most amazing visually in any movie I've ever seen. I also loved the opening credits (strange, right?) -- they featured some really amazing animation sequences and I would pay to see more of them -- it's hard to explain until you've seen the movie.

    Not the Best

    by krajci3

Enjoyable, yes. Daniel Craig, very hot. There have been better Bond movies. There was not enough interaction with the "Bond Girl". Not even sure which one it was. I was surprised by the ending. I know many people liked it, but this was the VERY FIRST time I looked at my watch during a Bond movie. I thought it was slow in many parts, and the opening seen left a lot to be desired. The villian was not a REAL villan, but a former co-worker turned vengeful.
The opening number was brilliantly performed but there again, lacked the shadowed naked women.

Sorry everyone. I was pretty upset myself at my non-reaction to this movie. Guess I'm more of a traditionalist.

    Usual Daniel Craig Bond Movie

    Hi Guyz,

Dont expect anything 'bond like' in this movie either, just like all previous Daniel Craig bond movies. The action is decent though. MI6 faces threat from one of their own agents when Bond goes all out to protect 'M' and his agency.

    Excellent

    by mjyork

Never have I seen a more entertaining bond movie. They brought back the old bond characters with a twist. They even bring back some old favorite gadgets for the end of the movie. You are always guessing where they'll take you scene to scene so it makes the movie quite a thrill ride. It's a must see.
