    SKYFALL

I thoroughly enjoyed Skyfall. Skyfall was one of the best James Bond movies. The movie was exciting, kept you on the edge of your seat. The acting, directing and cinematography was great.

I would not bring a very young child to this movie, but from teenage upward would be OK. The end of the movie was sad for me.

I look forward for the next Bond movie.

One of the best Bond films!

    by

    Loved this move.

Daniel Craig is now solidly in second place in the Bond actor rankings - no one will ever touch Sir Sean Connery!

The action scenes while as usual a little unbelievable (especially the explosion at the end - come on, any one within 50 feet of that building dies!) were excellent.

Loved the character development on 007! Loved the old car, too bad it got destroyed! The Scottish landscape scenes were just breathtaking.

Shocked (and then again not so much!) by the change at the top, but think that RF will make a great one!

A Sense of Humor and Javier Bardem. Nuff Said

Ridiculously improbable-- no, make that impossible --survival scenes, a script that makes Judi Dench seem less than wonderful, made me squirm a bit at the start, but things picked up as a loosened up, aging Daniel Craig shows a sense of ironic humor and Javier Bardem gives his No Country for Old Men performance with a homoerotic twist. He's a wonder. And at the end, I felt this might have been the best of the Bonds.

    Just plain enjoyable

    by ljay945

I saw the movie last night and I loved it. I was sitting up in my seat the entire time. This wasn't your typical James Bond movie where he is taking down an organization that has more money, power and mystery that the CIA and MI6 is just finding out about them and sending out the best covert operations agent that they got. This one hits close to home, MI6 to be exact. We see that it's blown up by a super hacker that the agency doesn't know, James come back from an unplanned holiday/recuperation to protect his boss and the country that he loves. I'm not going to give too much away but just note, I plan on seeing this movie again.

They mixed in the old with the new and got rid of some old so that new insight and vision can be brought to the revamped series. All in all, this was a good movie!. I'm loving Daniel Craig more and more and the bond and contention that he has with "M" is hilarious and familial.

NOW LET'S GET BACK TO THE SECRET ORGANIZATIONS AND TINY SPEEDOS.

    Skyfall

    by slomog

Good flick. as it is a celebration of 50 years of James Bond, they did some nice tributes during the move, like bringing out the classic Austin Martin, complete with machine gun headlights.

lots of action, great motorcycle chase scene. Also, nice interplay of the need for secret agents, in the age of cybercrime.

    Don't believe the hype.

Definitely NOT a "must go" I would give this Bond a 6 out of 10.. The opening scene was entertaining and lived up to the bond billing, however, after 20 minutes it will put you to sleep. Skyfall is all hype and really does not live up to the 007 standards.

    Action Packed

    by MJ3227

Typical James Bond fashion. Lot's of action and fast paced. Set's up future movies. Not much emphasis on a Bond girl. Naomi Harris should have a bigger role...she has more to offer.

Wake me up when it's over

They ran out of fresh ideas.
    Done before:

Two men fighting on top of moving train
Two men ducking when going thru tunnel on moving train
    Man surviving 1000ft fall
Chase scene on roofs in Istanbul were same ones used in Liam Neesan's new movie
Car chase on streets in Istanbul also just done

Bond was a dead fish in this movie and NOT attractive at all. Neither were his women.

Best Bond movie in recent years

Great Bond movie, reminiscent of the heyday, although I guess that was part of the purpose. The cameo reappearance of the Aston Martin DB5 was a nice touch.

    Good Bond villain too.

Action Packed Bond Movie-007 Lives Up to Expectation

This movies has the expected great plot and action to keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Stunts were visually stimulating and the venue for the shoot was very good. Again, most of the expected sexual scenes were predictable. Bond kept many women viewers happy as he removed his shirt more times than necessary.

All in all, the movie was worth the price of ticket. I commented to wife after the movie how easily entertained American movie-goers are. Explosions, murders, blood-shed, fast cars, faster women, and sex keeps most viewers returning to the theatre seeking to forget all things they go to movies to see. Hooray for HOLLYWOOD!

    A transition bond

    by

After the movie I was disappointed with the lack of "bondness ". From the lackluster scene switches to the terrible part Albert finney played. Not to spoil it but there were some scenes that were pointless And others that left me wondering...how did we get to this part exactly?

    Loved it!

I enjoyed every minute of this movie. The plot was great, exciting and unpredictable. Good female characters, too! Sexy, but with brains. And lots of fun references to the old 007 movies.

007 is BACK!!! Can't wait for the next one.

    Blah

By far the weakest of ALL Bond flicks. A great story line that was ruined by a bunch of sentimental wimpy stuff. A few decent action scenes (very few) but the vast majority of the movie left you wondering when the bad part would end. Unfortunately it never did. Ive seen all of the Bond flicks folks so trust me when I tell you that you'd see more intrigue in a Christmas children's movie. Sad

    SKY FALL

The movie lacked action and substance to keep the viewer attentive to the movie.
It was slow moving and lacked the special bond tricks usually in the James Bond movies. I would not have paid to see it at the theater if I i knew it lack substance.
