    Still scratching my head?

I was very disappointed in this recent installment, its story line, and associated drama carried out. It was loud and at times exciting, but I started becoming a critic rather than a viewer when I realized the story-line wasn't going to change. I mean really, the last 90 minutes protecting M the way they did, are you kidding me? And the bad guy, are you going to tell me he couldn't have gotten to M without all the theatrics? And what was the point of the first 30 minutes of the movie, I never tied that in myself.

I have been extremely encouraged by the redirection of the bond character sine Daniels Craig's arrival. The writers and producers finally made James Bond's License to Kill mean something and allowed him to use it. The recent installments seemed to have a grittier edge and yet stayed realistic, until this movie. Get back to Bond basics and leave Batman theatrics to the comic strips.

Acting was great! Producers and writers should be fired?

Good summer movie (Oh wait, its winter)

But still applies. Typical JB action movie, with ongoing twists and changes of scenery. As usual the narrative is not complex, and nor is the plot, but as long as you dont want a movie you have to think about, then this is fine.

    Such a surprise

This movie makes a real effort to humanize Bond and the other principles of the Bond series. Very entertaining and memorable. Without giving anything more away then the critics have already done, this is a must attend movie. You won't regret it!

    The Sky iis Fallingce

If anything was going to rescue the Bond franchise, Skyfall absolutely did the job. Daniel Craig is a splendid James Bond. Ruggedly handsome with piercing blue eyes, Craig IS Bond. (I know, I know, Sean Connery was the penultimate Bond and Timothy Dalton wasn't bad, but Daniel Craig makes it his own).

There are a couple of gadgets (one old, one new), but they don't carry the film. It rests squarely on Daniel Craig's shoulders, and he carries it beautifully. Javier Bardem is fantastic; he conveys more with his facial expressions and intonations than anyone I've ever seen, and is worthy of an Academy Award nomination. M is there, of course, and is pivotal to this story.

This film is well worth the price of admission. GO!

    Skyfall...... old fashioned Bond.

    by

    Enjoyable Bond.
    Well cast.
    Good choice of locations
Excellent acting - especially Javier Bardem. He makes a great camp Bond-baddy.
    Great final action scene.

    Must Go.

    Excellent Movie!

I'd never seen any of the James Bond movies but a friend wanted to see this one. It was a bit hard to follow for a while but then it got very exciting and the almost 2 1/2 hours felt like no time at all. You don't find out until nearly the end of the movie why it's called Skyfall but it will keep your attention the whole time. Definitely one to see on the Big Screen, not to wait until it is out on DVD. Well worth your time!

    do it daniel!!!!

I am shocked to say..... my favorite 007 (Roger Moore) has been replaced my Mr.Craig. He is so steely, yet still classy, he keeps the franchise alive. The graphcs in the film are unbelievable!!! Ralph Fiennes appearance was shocking and effective, and the performance stellar. There are some newcomers that are great, and some oldies but goodies show the reason we love them. the surprises kept coming in this one. You learn so much of the back story of 007 and Mi5.

    Skyfall falls short

    by

First off, I am a huge James Bond fan and have seen every single one of them. This movie left me feeling a little out-of-sorts. It was awkward at times, though the special effects and action packed chases never cease to amaze. The story was decent but lacked a tight plot. It seemed as though you were never sure was the real threat was. So, if that was the director's goal, he nailed it. Loved and hated the ridiculousness at times. The love story was underwhelming. This may be the first Bond where the love interest dies so early in the movie. The most sexual tension came from the bad guy and Bond in a scene where Silva is touching Bond on the face, neck, and thighs.
Again, to sum up, a movie worth seeing for the action-packed scenes but severely lacking in other departments.

    BEST OF BOND!!!!!

This was the BEST Bond movie I have seen. It stands on it's own yet unapologetically intersperses some wonderful Bond-Only moments from the past that make one feel part of Bond's whole life. Like an old friend's story being told over a couple of martinis, stirred, not shaken!

    Loved It

I think this was one of the better Bond movies they made. It was long but I say it was good from begining to end, loved it!

    What a waste of time.
Way too much talking, too little action.
Is that suppose to be PBS drama?
And since when did 007 became Batman.

    Awesome movie!!

Once again the creators of James Bond 007 bested their best! This next chapter again turns away from their trade marked gadgets and returns to good old well-practiced, suspenseful, and power-packed espionage. Of course we miss some of those high-tech gadgets, but the writers certainly filled the gap with worthwhile & hard-assed "spy-man-ship". It's taken me awhile to warm up to Daniel Craig's version of 007 - mind you, I'm a die-hard 007 fan - (sorry Daniel...), but this chapter finally pulled me in and hooked me. Great job! You gotta see!

    Best Bond Yet

If you're a Bond fan, this is a must see. Daniel Craig nails it! This is probably one of the best yet. Action filled (as usual) combined with a thinking man's theme. Well done!

    Watchable

It was a decent spy-action movie, if that's your thing. There weren't many twists or surprises but the ongoing high-tech vs. low-tech theme was entertaining, and it added enough depth to make the movie memorable.
