    Bond ... raw

As Bond movies go, this one is stripped of all glitter, fantasy, high tech, futuristic gadgets plots or villains, and is simple, strong, violent and ... raw.

Despite the omage paid to the franchise (the Aston Martin, the characters - MonyPenney, Q, M -,and the usual jaunting around the world, thw movie is so basic, that leaves a bit of an unfinished taste ...

I a a big fanon the films, and I did enjoythis one, but I can't wait for the next one ... you know what mean!?

    Oh so British!

The newest James Bond flick, Skyfall, is, simply put, smashing. As always, Daniel Craig does a fantastic job being smooth, sauve, and sophisticated (even in death). M (Judi Dench) was probably the best part of the movie-- more action with her than ever before. The only downfall of the movie: in order to make room for more Judi Dench, the creators had to cut out a few of the ever-prevelant sex-scenes; although, they're still there. In the end, I have to give Dench the unabashed Most Valuable Actress award-- bloody brilliant and a Must See!

Great installment of the new bond

Craig is perfect, and the writing is great. More time spent focused on story and broader messages (old vs. new) rather than outrageous stunts or gadgets, which gets the audience more involved rather than just along for the ride. (Although one or two nifty gadgets might have been fun.)

    SKYFALL

I JUST HAD TO SEE THIS MOVIE! MY SON WHO IS 12 HAS BEEN WATCHING BOND FOR YEARS STARTING WITH THE ORIGINAL OF COURSE, SEAN HIMSELF. I RECALL HEARING "SKYFALL" ON THE RADIO FOR THE FIRST TIME WHEN MY SON SAID "LISTEN TO THIS MOM, THIS HAS TO BE A SONG FOR A JAMES BOND MOVIE"! WE GOOGLED IT AS SOON AS WE GOT HOME AND SURE ENOUGH HE WAS RIGHT- TOTALLY BLEW MY MIND!

WITH THAT SAID, I JUST HAD TO TAKE HIM TO SEE THIS PARTICULAR ONE IN THE MOVIE THEATRE, AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT WE DID ON NEW YEARS DAY.

WE BOTH ENJOYED IT! I LOVED THE WAY THEY TIED THE NEW AGE TECHNOLOGY IN WHILE KEEPING SPECIFIC DETAILS OLD FASHION. THEN HOW EXCITED WERE WE TO SEE THE ASTON MARTIN, OH MY!

HIS FAVORITE PART WAS THE CHASE THRU THE TRAIN STATION, AND MINE WAS THAT THEY PULLED THE ENTIRE STORY LINE AND "BOND ERA" TOGETHER VERY NICELY.

THE ONE THING I MISSED WAS BONDS USUSAL FEMALE COUNTERPART- I THINK MY SON DID TOO- LOL

OH YEAH AND WE BOTH PUT DANILE CRAIG A RUNNING 2ND WITH ROGER MOORE!

    sucked

Action scenes were cool but hand to hand combat was EXTREMELY fake. Plot was boring and completely idiotic and unrealistic. Also, Danial Craig sucks. The End.

    Skyfall

Great Movie. Daniel Craig is the best Bond Ever and yes, I am old enough to remember the others. Thought the scene with M was Very Touching, well done. Glad to see him be a full person, and not just a robotic super hero. Best Bond movie to date. Will go again to see it.

    Great, great, great movie!

Wife and I get only a few nights out a year (2 kids at home and babysitting is expensive) so I am very pleased with this choice of date night. James Bond via Daniel Craig is great and Skyfall is another strong chapter in this mythology. The villain offers several new twists, but remains true to the bond formula. The new 'Q' offers a contemporary view. Well worth the price of admission.

    "Shaken not stirred."

In the most anticipated sequal of the James Bond franchise, Daniel Craig once again reprises his role as the secret agent forced out of early retirement to battle with a pschotic henchman hell bent on destroying MI6, the central intelligence agency of England. After suffering a near fatal gunshot wound by a fellow agent, James Bond delves into the realm of secrecy and seduction through exotic locations that span the globe. His character later meets his adversary, a rogue agent formerly a member of MI6 seeking vengeance after an act of betrayal leaves him physically scarred and mentally deranged. For die hard fans of the cult classic, this film will definitely provide an adrenaline rush in terms of high risk stunts, heart pumping fight sequences, and the occasional intimate segments.

    Skyfall

    by pankjer

The best Bond ever. It's so different from the previous movies. It has action, humor and something you usually don't see in a Bond movie, heart and soul. A very powerful performance by Craig. The best part is that it comes full circle. Definitely, check out this movie.

    Skyfall

We are huge fans of the 007 movies; and this one definitely lived up to the role! It was a great thrill seeking action movie; just what you'd expect with Bond, only with a few new twists to keep you guessing and anxious to see the conclusion! Job well done! This is yet another film that will be added to our collection for sure!

    Best Bond Movie Ever

When a movie opens with Adele singing an amazing sultry ballad against a backdrop of stunning cinematogrphy (which lasts throughout the entire movie) and continues with a timely, ingelligent story line acted beautifully by a stong, gifted cast, you know you made the right choice by viewing this best Bond movie to date at an IMAX theater. I might add that this is the first movie I've ever watched on an IMAX screen. Regardless of that, I'm adding this movie to my list of all time favorites.

Decent movie but nothing like the Bourne..

I guess I've never been a James Bond fan. I went thinking I was going to give a try but no, I'll stick with the Bourne series.

Skyfall was an exciting Bond Film and Craig willl Go Down as one Perhaps the Best 007

    by judae1

This film was fun, exciting and kept moving. At every turn, Daniel Craig as Bond is certainly the best Bond since Connery. The movie did not rely on high technology and gimmicks as many action films do, and it echoed the past Bond films with classic charm, wit and a darkness of the kind that makes you fear for the things we do not know about evils that exist.

Using basic, home made weapons and the flashback to the vintage Aston Martin with the eject button made it exciting and unpredictable.

Loved the film, loved the depth of the characters. Javier Bardem was the kind of psychopath that we used to love about Bond films. The story was a little weak, but that did not keep it from being played well.

The landscape shots, the desolate countryside shots, the riveting action shots all kept it interesting.

I believe Connery made the role and Pierce Brosnan was my second favorite. Daniel Craig takes that spot

Nice start to the continuing 007 Series

Finally the traditional Sean Conery 007 Theme music plays, as Craig takes over on the big screen as the new rising Bond character. It all comes together now. If you are the traditional Bond lover from Conery, to Moore films, you'll appreciate this movie. Enjoy.

    Great, Classic Bond

The movie was great. I loved every minute. It tied up loose ends and bought the series with Daniel Craig full circle. I can not wait to see the next installmenet.
