    Three B's Bond, Bad, Boring

I have seen every Bond movie to date and this is by far the worst. The writing and acting are very sub-par; from the overly choreographed fight scenes to the non existing chemistry for the romantic ones, this move is more like a bad Batman film than a Bond movie. Bond shows very little emotion whether being shot or mourning a comrade. The new Money-Penny tries to be sexy and tough at the same time but pulls off neither. The bad guy in the movie is more a Joker lite, maybe a bit more crazy than evil genus bad. All and all this movie was slow and boring with little sense of danger or drama.

    A lot of action movie

There were times when it wasn't clear how Bond got from one place to another. All of a sudden he was just there! The action was intense and fantastic. It is a must see movie.

    Usual Daniel Craig Bond Movie

    Hi Guyz,

Dont expect anything 'bond like' in this movie either, just like all previous Daniel Craig bond movies. The action is decent though. MI6 faces threat from one of their own agents when Bond goes all out to protect 'M' and his agency.

    Great, great, great movie!

Wife and I get only a few nights out a year (2 kids at home and babysitting is expensive) so I am very pleased with this choice of date night. James Bond via Daniel Craig is great and Skyfall is another strong chapter in this mythology. The villain offers several new twists, but remains true to the bond formula. The new 'Q' offers a contemporary view. Well worth the price of admission.

    Skyfall

It was awesome. Lots of action. Great story. I loved the references to past James Bond movies and a very nice set up for the next Bond film.

    Slow Start, but Great Finish!

    by DerekEA

I liked the film overall, but it started kind of slow for me.

For a Bond Film, there was hardly any sexual content, but I wouldn't take young children for the violence and some graphic scenes depicting the villain.

The acting was good, but the villain could have been better. Definitely worth going.

    Skyfall?

The movie was ok not my favorite 007 flick by far. It was definitely too long and scenes could of been cut without affecting the overall film. The cinematography and acting were very good.
Lacked certain characteristics typical of Bond movies..missed high tech gadgets and sexy scenes, but was more realistic than others.

Skyfall was an exciting Bond Film and Craig willl Go Down as one Perhaps the Best 007

    by judae1

This film was fun, exciting and kept moving. At every turn, Daniel Craig as Bond is certainly the best Bond since Connery. The movie did not rely on high technology and gimmicks as many action films do, and it echoed the past Bond films with classic charm, wit and a darkness of the kind that makes you fear for the things we do not know about evils that exist.

Using basic, home made weapons and the flashback to the vintage Aston Martin with the eject button made it exciting and unpredictable.

Loved the film, loved the depth of the characters. Javier Bardem was the kind of psychopath that we used to love about Bond films. The story was a little weak, but that did not keep it from being played well.

The landscape shots, the desolate countryside shots, the riveting action shots all kept it interesting.

I believe Connery made the role and Pierce Brosnan was my second favorite. Daniel Craig takes that spot

Skyfall very good but not great

    by smegs

Looking at the critics reviews and having seen all the Bond movies I expected something spectacular. Spectacular never happened. This is a very good movie but not a great one. Daniel Craig is my second favorite Bond, right up there with Sean Connery.. The story line is solid, the casting very good (although Judy Dench is looking very very old and very tired) and the movie gets into the roots of the Bond character. The action sequences were good but not great, the acting solid but again not great, the movie moves along quickly but at times feels plodding. It was nice to see an action movie that relied on story more than technology but in the case of an action movie such as this a little bit more technology might have been better. As a Bond fan, I truly enjoyed the movie and would recommend it but I left the theater expecting just a little bit more

    Skyfall

Great Movie. Daniel Craig is the best Bond Ever and yes, I am old enough to remember the others. Thought the scene with M was Very Touching, well done. Glad to see him be a full person, and not just a robotic super hero. Best Bond movie to date. Will go again to see it.

    sucked

Action scenes were cool but hand to hand combat was EXTREMELY fake. Plot was boring and completely idiotic and unrealistic. Also, Danial Craig sucks. The End.

    Excellent

    by mjyork

Never have I seen a more entertaining bond movie. They brought back the old bond characters with a twist. They even bring back some old favorite gadgets for the end of the movie. You are always guessing where they'll take you scene to scene so it makes the movie quite a thrill ride. It's a must see.

    I shoulda had a v8

    by skysky1

Disappointing & not just because of the hype. Yeah, it had some clever touches and it's a historical occasion to see a 50 year old franchise. But if you want your moneys' worth, see the new Jason Bourne film instead. I'm looking forward to the next Bond film but without Sam Mendes.

    A Fun Diversion

Let me start by saying I'm not a huge 007 fan in general. We were looking for a movie to watch as a family (I have two young teenage boys) and Skyfall seemed to have the broadest appeal with both kids and parents.

While the action was fun and characters were likable, I wasn't as engrossed in the story line as I would normally have been. Maybe I would have gotten more of the "classic 007 references" if I were a bigger fan of the series.

All in all I'd say it was fun and a great excuse to get the whole family together in one place for almost two hours!

    Well...let me tell ya.

    by bycraig

I found the movie, while attempting to ***** Bond and the Bond franchise, a bit troubling. As in other Hollywood blockbuster films that attempt this, the criminality of queerness becomes the center of the story. While I can appreciate Javier's role, I was genuinely troubled that his queerness was played up as dangerously psychopathic. Perhaps I should concentrate on the loss of the famous Bond-mobile, however had the story done more with Bond's commentary on his own queerness, I would have been a lot happier. Go see it!
