    Good story, great images; well done Pixar!

    Brilliantly done; the animation is fluid and lifelike in ways we haven't seen before. The characters are engaging, and an immediate connection to them is developed in the initial scenes. Probably one of Pixar's best, and on a par with Miyazaki.

    Awesome!

    Saw Brave with my boys thinking it was more for girls - not at all! This was a terrific Pixar movie. Personally I think it's one of their best. You will LOVE the characters. LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!

    Finally a strong female!

    I took my 4 yr old niece to see this. Although she got the humor in some of it, I think it was a bit mature for a 4yr. old. Me, I adored it. The heroine was strong, stubborn, smart and absolutely herself. Exactly what I hope for all the wonderful girls and young women in my life. I think this would be a great movie to take a 6+yr old to see. Esp. moms and daughters. Could pave the way for some great discussions!!! Bravo!

    Another Pixar success

    My son was sucked in from the beginning and absolutely loved it. My wife cried at the ending (like she does with most Pixar films). Another success for Pixar, and now the countdown is on till Monsters University!

    BRAVE is brilliant!

    Mother/daughter movies are rare. GREAT mother/daughter movies that fathers and sons will also enjoy, even more rare. BRAVE proves rare isn't impossible. I LOVED it. Absolutely loved it. If you are a mother with a daughter, be sure you see it together. A whole new kind of Disney/Pixar princess. A worthy hybrid. Beautiful.

    Awesome

    As expected, Disney Pixar delivered another beautiful movie ... interesting characters, awesome animation (love how her hair blows in the wind). Watched it with my 11-yr old daughter, making the story line even more appropriate for our 'girls weekend'. We giggled, teared-up, and in the end, left the theater feeling all warm and tingly inside.

    Brave has to be the best Disney-PIXAR movie by far!

    It was all around fantastic. I left the movies speaking like them. (lol) And, the message behind the movie was one you can take with you in life. This movie is a must see!

    I took my Nieces 10 year old daughter to see it, at first I was not sure if she was enjoying it. Than as the movie continued my doubts were removed. It was a very entertaining moview to watch

    Great Family Fun

    I took 2 of my little neighbors to see Brave, they were 9 years old and they absolutely enjoyed it AND so did I! It was action packed and the graphics of the movie was so realistic and flawless. Brave made you laugh, cry and cheer...all at the same time! I would highly recommend this movies to all families with small kids and even for adults who are kids at heart. Pixar has done it again....I give it 2 thumbs up and if I had more thumbs, they'd all go up too!!!

    So Beautiful!!!

    This movie was so beautiful. My daughters, 11 and 1 were in tears before the ending. We had a great night out at the movies! I would recommend this movie to all my friends... children or not. The details throughout the movie were so crisp and crystal clear. This was an enjoyable movie to watch. As with most Disney movies, there is enough of a story line to keep adults entertain.

    Good for 6+

    My 7 year old loved it and caught on to all the subtlety in the plot. I think it may be scary for children 5 and under, because of the bear scenes.

    Brave - A family's story for the whole family

    I was concerned that this Disney flick had a PG rating - it is harder and harder to find good clean movies to see with pre-teen children. By my calculation, the driver for that rating is probably due to bear-on-bear violence and a witchcraft-based intertwined story thread. The movie was great - rich in color and character detail, excellent story lines, engaging dialogue and characters. Good moral lesson tied into exceptional Disney movie fun. The detail in the individual curls of the heroine's hair is amazing - and that was in 2D. Probably even richer in 3D. Pixar is on it's game.

    OK, but intense for youngsters.

    We enjoyed the movie but remarked that the trailers and previews reveal NOTHING OF THE INTENSE VIOLENCE AND FIGHTING that are part of this story. That's OK for me, but the 4 and 5 year olds that I took were hiding big time. Act accordingly...

    Disney's Brave

    Saw Brave yesterday - it had a pretty good story and if I hadn't seen trailers for it on TV for the last 6 months, probably would have enjoyed even more. Very different than the usual Pixar movies that I have seen in the past.
