    Funny

My daughter and I really enjoyed the movie. I was kind of tired when I sat down to watch the movie and thought I would just go to sleep. Didn't happen. The movie was funny.

    Ice Stench 4

This particular version met all my expectations....for all the wrong reasons. Incoherent plot...rambling script....banal characters even Sid couldn't salvage this smorgasbord of yesterdays leftovers.

However, if you want somewhere to grab a couple of hours sleep while jr enjoys the cartoon then go for it.

    I Love This Movie!

I enjoyed this installment. The characters seem a bit more real/believable and comfortable in their roles and I found the script more current and relate-able. I think it's great for kids and adults alike. I'll go see it again in 3D. :)

Ice Age 4 was a hit!!

I took my three kids to see Ice Age 4 on opening day and they loved it. I liked it as much as they did. I am a big fan of the Ice Age movies. Perfect for the kids and enough humor for adults to love too!

    Ice Age: Continental Drift

Ice Age 4 is a real crowd pleaser. The wonderful artistry, the incredible technology, and the side splitting comedy were all first rate. On the downside, adults may find the shows message, while important to adolescents experiencing peer pressure, to be a bit preachy. The story line could have been a bit more thought out because the whale who came to save the day (AKA "Precious") was unacceptable as a plot device and unbelievable. It was as if the writers just got lazy. The very best thing that came out of this was the discovery of Peter Dinklage ( the dwarf on the Game of Thrones tv series) who played the voice of Captain Gutt, the ape like villain in the movie. We will definitely be seeing, I mean hearing him again!

    We loved it!

I took my 7-year old niece to see this movie yesterday, and we both had a great time! There's action, adventure, new loves, and family. It's a really beautiful story! My niece especially loved Sid's Granny and the pirates--and I loved the villainous Captain Gutt (Peter Dinklage), and his first mate, beautiful tigress Shira. :D Excellent movie, a great addition to the series!

    Ice Age 4

My 14 yo granddaughter and I went to see it together, we both enjoyed it. It is definitely a movie for all ages to see. I find it amazing, how these movies are made, it takes a lot of talent, in all areas, to be able to produce such a great movie.

    soso

it is so-so it wouldn't be so bad except for the simpson cartoon was a blatant propaganda cartoon supporting the democrat/socialist party b.s. supporting obama's saying if you aren't for him then you want dirty air and water. Ayn rand was a refugee from communist russia and she wrote several books describing how the communist took over the economy and people's lives that is why the democrats are trying to smear her name in the cartoon. BTW most elitest in real life are democrats lucas, kennedy gore, kerry obama spielberg lopez

    Ice Age: Continental Drift

We are witnessing what is a profoundly significant morphing of movies into a digital world--where whatever the writers want to express--they can. The character, Scrat" holds the series together and provides a thread of comic relief (sometimes rather harmlessly grim). And as I said, the script writers have free rein.

It will only get better. The detail of physics, movement and character detail is now magnificent but more and more is yet to come. Everyone who sees this movie (not 'film') should contribute comments to help the artists and engineers punch through this explosion of ability.

By the way, the rendering of hair, muscles, and skin over skeleton is extremely good. The physical reaction of characters running about on a floating iceberg is the best I have seen. Please praise it if you like it.

Recommendation, see it and appreciate it for the gateway is is. Your children will be able to say "I remember when."

    Ice Age 4, Just O.K.

Not much to say about this fourth installment of the franchise. The only reason I went to see it was because of my 8 year old son. I would have preferred to have waited for the DVD release. The original cast performance is always great, but the only standout exceptions were Wanda Sykes as Granny and the awesome Peter Dinklage as Captain Gutt. Thank god for Crash & Eddie voiced by the funny Sean William Scott and Josh Peck who should have had alot more screen time. Those two always make my sides hurt from laughing so much. And they definitely should have had Buck back instead of that weak cameo in the beginning. The story was really weak too, kind of a copy of the second installment. To me, "Dawn of The Dinosaurs" is my favorite of the series. I would wait for the DVD release if I were you. Mark
