    Pretty good life lessons.

Usually in the fourth of any line of movies, everything is pretty rotten. However, in this movie series, the characters have experienced many life steps, and this one is no different. The squirrel was awesome, he could totally have been in the Matrix.

    Ice Age: Continental Drift

Looked forward to seeing this with a small child who loved the first two Ice Age movies (me too) but this one was a waste of $, time, and performers; too scattered to catch our interest. I do not recommend spending the amount of $ movie tkts. cost these days for a child to view this film.

    Ice age. Continental drift

I really enjoyed this movie. That crazed squirrel is delightful. I love the mammoth family although some of the lines seemed a little stilted. The plot was good, a bit of a change from their on land problems. Peaches was a typical teenager. I look forward to number four.

If you can stretch your disbelief completely out of sight, you'll love this movie

The creators of "Ice Age: Continental Drift" take insane liberties with the time span for geological processes, but do so with the best intent: side-splitting laughs. It's clearly time for Scrat to take center stage, and he gets a lot more screen time in this movie than in the previous three, to usually hilarious effect. His discovery and subsequent acts in "Scratlantis" are just the beginning of his important role in driving the underlying plot of the movie.

As usual, all the other main characters -- Manny and his family (Peaches and Ellie), Diego, and Sid (and his family, introduced for the first time, including the hilariously decrepit Granny who has more than a few tricks up her sleeve and in other places) -- play to and against their stereotypes with fervor and humor. The action can be excessive, but the interactions are interesting, and the lessons learned good.

Captain Gutt, voiced by actor Peter Dinklage (Therion from Game of Thrones) makes a great villain. Worth seeing.

    Wow! Awesome sequel!

Loved this movie! Why? It touches on historical facts about our planet, touches the heart and touches your funny bone! The grand kids (ages 7-11) loved it as much as I did! Jennifer Lopez does a great job of voicing Shera. So glad she joined the already awesome cast! Any movie that teaches kids (all of us actually) to value Family and Friends rates high in my book. Go see this movie with people you love!

    Brilliant

The first Ice Age movie I loved, but then Ice Age, Age of the Dinasaurs was a great dissapointment. In fact it was boring! Continental Drift on the other hand was fast paced, very funny, and brilliantly put together. I saw Spiderman last week at the insistence of my Granddaughter Bringing her. I went on sufferance, but was then delighted as it turned out to be great. Well Ice Age: Continental Drift surpassed that by a wide margin. Great for Kids, and even greater for adults!

    Awesome Movie. Must See!

A very cute and awesome movie. I would definitely see this movie in theaters. I loved the song at the end and also love the short movie in the front. But all in all I love this movie and would say its for all ages 10+

    great family movie!

    by Dalon

we love all the Ice Age movies - this one did not disappoint! my boys were laughing out loud during a lot of it and chuckling and whispering about it the other moments - they left with a great tag line and shared segments of the movie with each other the entire way home - this will be on our library shelf soon along with the others ;-)

    Had it's moments

Went to see the Ice Age movie last night and it was good. Not as good as the previous three but good nonetheless. It had its funny moments, but not a break the bank movie to watch in theaters.

    ICEAGEESSECARY ROUGHNESS

If you've seen the 3rd one, at LEAST KNOW THIS:

Ellie was NOT pregnant!!! At the end of the movie, she and Manny ADOPTED Peaches (who was an orphan) and brought he back with them up above. That's what REALLY happened!!!!

Sid was crass, Diego was bland, Manny was Emo, Ellie was difficult, and Peaches was the best!!!

Oh, there should be an Ice Age spinoff on Peaches' past!!!!!

    Lots of fun!

Unlike some series where they just keep getting worse, the Ice Age movies seem to be at least holding steady in quality, which is great if you really enjoyed the first 3 as we did. Lot's of laughs in this installment and the voice talents are awesome! We didn't see the 3D version but it was still very good in plain ol' 2D.

    Ice Age for the AGES...

    by Jluv4

This Ice Age installment was full of action and comedy. My niece was crackin up laughing through out. With more voice contributions from today stars, it definitely set the tone for a much more "current" approach. Definitely a movie to take the kids or even the family to watch. Enjoyed it!

    ICE AGE 4 CONTINENTAL DRIFT

I enjoyed it; it made me laugh; I took took my G-daughters ages 5&7 and they loved it. They thought it was funny and talked about it to their mom & dad the next day recalling different scenes and still laughing about it. I think any age will enjoy it, but I believe it's more suitable f/kids.

Good Entertainment and Humor, but No Plot

I have never seen any of the Ice Age movies, but that did not affect the plot line at all. The plot was very weak and predictable. However, the actors were very well casted. Overall, the movie was very funny, but was not deep.
