    The Dark Knight Rises

    by

I loved this movie. The story, action, and acting were amazing. The beginning started off kind of slow, but picked it up. Also, it is sometimes hard to understand what Bane is saying because of his voice.. Overall, GO see this movie.

    Great movie

Very exciting and intense. There were a couple of parts of the plot I think I missed but that's just my own thing. Christian Bale is bad-ass. Joseph Gordon-Levitt -- perfect.

    Very well done

I thought this movie was pretty good actually.

There were a few things I would have cut out or done differently, but overall....It was a very WELL-done film, and it was quite engaging. Very deep at some parts and just had a lot of soul/heart to it. Which was something severely lacking in the recent "Amazing Spiderman" film imo.

    Next Up: "Man of Steel"!!

It's batman you have to see it once

Batman was good cat woman was good. Felt a little political and the fight scenes werent as close up as the others . Plot holes and undeveloped Bain leaves you desiring more. See it once and let it go. This is the last one from this batman and director.

    Gotta see this!

    by kdbenko

Everything I expected and more. Yes, his voice as batman is just as annoying as ever, but the story line and the presentation by Anne Hathaway will hit you unexpectedly. Check this out before it leaves the big screen. What a great movie and they didn't even need the hype of 3D. h

worthy ending to the amazing Batman

    by ihea

Wow, what a film! Did the entire film as a whole satisfy me as much as the Dark Knight? No, but the last 30 minutes of the film make up for it with fantastic action sequences and a powerful conclusion for the caped crusader. Fantastic performances by Bale and Michael Caine. I liked Anne Hathaway as Selina even though I thought she over-acted a bit. Bain was a truly intimidating villian but of course pales in comparison to Ledger's the Joker. Make sure you see the first two films before watching this or you'll be a little lost

    Great Movie

I think it is the best Batman yet. Can't wait for the next one with Robin. If their was one thing I thought was could of been better is the voice of Bain, very hard to understand what he says.

    Go see it.

    Outstanding!!

Great flick start to finish! Almost 3 hour duration flew by. Well acted, great special effects, good plot line twists, and well directed. Must see for all ages!

    A Fitting Finale!

Epic, absolutely epic. Larger than the screen seemed to be able to hold. There is nothing this movie lacked. I would rate this trilogy finale right up there with the likes of the Bourne trilogy and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Nolan is truly a brilliant film maker. I do hope he is given other worthy projects to bring to life on the big screen. In the times of stay at home big screen high def televisions, do not be cheated on this film....GO GO GO.

Edge of my seat kind of movie

    by dubz180

I still loved dark knight with the joker just a little more than this one. However, everyone must see this. If you were frightened because of the Holmes incident I understand, but at least go watch this movie prepared with a bulletproof or something. it's that good.

The Dark Knight Rises Raises the Bar!

While The Dark Knight still remains my favorite of the three, The Dark Knight Rises in no way let me or anyone in the audience down. As is his style, Nolan went as far as he could take the story and the action without creating a horrid mess. The film is stylish, captivating, intense, and entertaining from start to epic finish. For those deeply avoidant of a spoiler alert, look away for this last comment: the way the film ends leaves a lot of room for a strongy suggested sequel. I strongly doubt that the series is truely over!

Batman saunters to medium heights in this threequal

The proverbial shiv hits the fanboy in this made for theater plasterpiece. Christian Michaels returns as the beleaguered hero and finds himself crossing paths with the respective heroines from La Vie En Rose and The Princess Diaries in an intriguing attempt to reclaim his authority as top-freelance-destroyer of Gotham City. He meets his match in WWE's ratings juggernaut Kane and along the way finds out a lot about the politics of federal prison. True to comic book form this tale begins with a bang and wraps up with a surreptitious ending that will leave many damp theater seats. Not recommended for children with histories of gun violence.

The most epic one in the series.

In my opinion, the most epic in the trilogy. It is however a tragic shame that someone had to cause a tragedy on the day most fans were looking forward to.

    A Fun Movie But...

NO SPOILERS...The Dark Knight Rises was fun but hokey at times and about an hour too long. With the glut of previews the movies was nearly three and a half hours long. You will enjoy this movie but this is not at the same level as the other two films in the trilogy.

Bane, who I disliked in the comics was nearly perfect on screen. In fact, Bane was on screen so much it should have been a Bane movie. Some aspects of his abilities did not match up with the realistic take the trilogy has tried to present, but nothing too jarring.

Some parts were explained away too easily and were either just silly, or worse stupid. Again, nothing that would make you walk out on the film, but serious batman fans might roll their eyes a bit.

But again, despite the flaws (the last 15 minutes were the worst part for me) this is an enjoyable action movie. It just isn't the best Batman movie.
