    Breaking Dawn 2

    by SandZ2

The screen play was well written and she tried to get the main points of the book included. I enjoyed the movie very much. Opening day I saw it in the morning, then in the afternoon I took my granddaughter to see it. I loved it again.

    good ending

    by mflury

Liked the ending; it was a surprise! And the tribute in the credits to all the actors at the end was a nice touch.

I wonder how much per word these actors were paid...not a lot of stressful dialogue; just a lot of pensive gazes...

Absolutely Fantastic. The twist was perfect. It was great in the acting, directing, cinematography, writing, etc. Handled good for all ages. Hardly had a chance to dry my eyes to see the end. Really sad to see it end. With Renesme and Jacob together and what their offspring will be; along with others that were conceived from Vampire/Human relationships and Wolf/Human relationships......get them together and knock off the Voluturi to rul the world.....the next movie........

Breaking Dawn Part 2 - The Twilight Saga

My daughter and I have seen all of the twilight movies. We did not have high expectations of this one because the trailers looked lame. Well, let me tell you, we LOVED it! It drew us in right from the beginning...starting out with Edward and Bella celebrating her change over ;-)
But, the whole scene with the voltari BLEW OUR MINDS. What a twist. And the end, with just Edward and Bella was a great way to end the movie saga. For Twilight fans, it's a MUST GO!

Great way to end an epic saga!

    by

Saw a 10pm show on opening night. Everyone was hyped. I read EVERY single book in the Twilight Saga and have seen all the movies.

As with all of the other movies in the saga, there were some holes in the storyline and alterations. I suspect it's to keep the movie moving along and keep it from being too long and possibly a bit boring. Even with the alterations, the final result was usually the same. I hate spoilers and people who spoil a movie, so all I will say is that the ending was well-played by the writers! It was really a worthy movie to end an epic series. Saw a lot of people on my Facebook hating on the series, but I haven't met anyone who's actually READ the books, that agrees with the negativity. You have to read the books to appreciate the movies, otherwise it can be ho-hum.

Sad that the series is over but it was a great ride. It's worth seeing. Thanks for everything Bella, Edward, Jacob, Alice, Emmett, Jasper, Carlise, Esme, Rosalie, and Renesmee! It was a blast.

Don't smile because it's over - smile because it happened.

    by

I have been waiting patiently for this movie to come out. I HAD to see it last night knowing I would not get much sleep! I wouldn't say that this was the best of the Twilight series but I did enjoy it. The movie is more than vampires and werewolves - it's an amazing love story. It was weird seeing Bella as a vampire but she definitely adjusted well to being a "blood sucker." The entire movie is really geared around the daughter - Renesmee and the fact that she IS part mortal and part immortal. The Volturi gets wind of this "crime" against their kind. Without giving the entire movie away - I shall leave it at that. Vampires and werewolves fighting together for the same cause. Who would've thunk it at the absolute beginning of this amazing story!

    Watched it 3X Back-To-Back!

Never have I wanted to re-watch a movie as soon as it was over. Not so, with Breaking Dawn, Part 2. Once was not enough! There were so many twists, turns, and little details, that the senses were overwhelmed with the wonder of it all. A definite must see for all fans of the series obviously, but I also think that this film in particular could appeal to new fans.
Let's just say that the guy in your life may be more amenable to going to this installment...the fight scenes are awesome! And a nice wrap up at the end. Great job Stephanie Meyer!!

    Epic

    by

Arguably the best out of all movies from this saga. It was a great depiction of the novel with seemingly necessary and minor alterations to it's written ending. Definitely recommend.

    Ups and Downs

Overall I thought it was a good movie for this series. Taylor Lautner was not nearly shirtless as much as he could have been :0) But, seriously, it was a decent movie that drew the series to it's conclusion. It's obviously not a stand alone movie, so if you have seen the prior ones you will want to see this one also.

My biggest gripe is that for weeks I had been reading articles strewn over the internet by some of the cast members about a big dance scene that was going to be added in post credits. We sat there through the entire very very long credits to find out that this was totally false. It was disappointing.
