    Awesome movie!

    by

This had a great story line. I really enjoyed how they took the classic characters and gave them a more modern edge.

My daughter is 6 and she loved it enough to see it twice. Once on a field trip with camp and then she wanted me to take her.

There are a couple of spots that might be too scary for some kids. The boogey man is a little ominous, but in the end the children stand up to him... so it is worth making it to the end.

    Good Family Movie!

We really enjoyed the movie. Our girls are 6 and 8, but the adult humor was entertaining too!

    Will make you believe again!

I've always believed in the 'spirit' of all of the Guardians. This movie reminds me why. Great fun, and a heartfelt story, it was enjoyed by everyone around me, including the parents.

    Good Movie

    by

This was a pretty good movie. My kids (ages 8 and 4 1/2) didn't walk out all overly excited but they said they enjoyed it! I think it's a great movie to take your kids too, but under 5 may be a little too young. There are some scary parts (the character Pitch Black and his black horses with glowing gold eyes) and so some kids that are sensitive to even the slightest scary it may be too scary for them. I would buy this movie on DVD when it comes out.

    Great family movie!

My husband and I went to see this movie with my parents and our 3 girls ages 10, 8 and 4.5 Thanksgiving night. All of us loved it! Great animation, story and message. Nice way to cap off the day.

    Loved this!

Magickal movie and a must see! The story was fresh and the characters were fun and interesting - awesome movie! You don't have to be a child to go see this - I went with no kids and I recommend it to everyone of all ages!

    Better than expected

After seeing the trailers for this movie, I didn't really want to see it, but my daughter (7) wanted to so we went. After a slow, predictable start, the movie gets a lot better. There were some really funny parts. The boogeyman is a little scary for kids (but he's supposed to be, right?). Overall, it was worth the price of admission.

    Great family movie

    by

Follows the basic archetype of a feel-good family movie. The CG was really well done as expected. The take on your classical holiday favorites is refreshing and different. My kids and I really enjoyed this movie. You can always tell a good kids movie, when you aren't chasing them up and down the aisle because they lost interest.

    Rise of the Guardians

Enjoyed full heartedly by both the adults and children !!

Really liked the voices or should I say the accents. Seemed like everyone like a different part of the movie which made for a very talkative way home.

    Go see to enjoy yourself

    Rise of the Guardians

What a great movie! Something for kids of all ages, and adults as well. A twist on all of the "myths" we grew up with. Definitely recommend!

Best Christmas movie since the Santa clause

    by tnecvol

Beautiful animation. Great story, fun characters, especially Jack Frost and the Easter Bunny. My 6 year old grand twins said it was the best Chrstmas movie ever. Will buy it on DVD.

Not Just for the little ones!

You'll remember why cartoons were great as a kid & why as an adult, you have to believe in Santa, the Easter Bunny. I love the animation of this movie - you feel like you can reach out & touch it & I didn't see it in 3-D so it must be amazing to see! It was funny & sad as well as full of all the things you believe when you're small & forget when you're an adult!

Go, but NOT FOR LITTLE KIDS

The graphics in this movie were amazing and it was entertaining. However my seven year old daughter was terrified and had to the leave the movie. She hasn't been able to sleep for a week, and may be traumatized for a long time.

    Great family outing

    by muttnut

It's not the best kids movie out there, but it's worth a night out at the movies with the family. It's a little complicated for really young kids (like 4), but t has a nice message at the end.

maike_illu Enjoyed Epic and Rise of the Guardians this weekend! Epic was better, RotG was nicely designed but the story was not that convincing to me.
