Rise of the Guardians...A MUST SEE!!!

    by sgtshiu

You don't need to watch this movie in 3D...it's fantastic all by itself! My 4 yr old daughter and I were huddled up in the theater cheering on the good guys! We almost cried and we laughed a lot! I loved this movie!

    Amazing Movie

    by

We saw this after the holidays in digital. It's a visually beautiful movie, and I loved the overall good defeats evil theme. I really enjoyed how they showed each character: the Easter Bunny, Jack Frost, the Tooth Fairy, Sandman, and of course Santa. The elves are adorable and hysterical. My kids, 10 and 6, both enjoyed it. I would say my 6 yo daughter was a little frightened at times, but not the point of crying or clutching. It was funnier than I expected too. We are looking forward to getting this on DVD when it comes out. I think it was really a worthwhile film, for both kids and adults.

    Great family movie!

My husband and I went to see this movie with my parents and our 3 girls ages 10, 8 and 4.5 Thanksgiving night. All of us loved it! Great animation, story and message. Nice way to cap off the day.

    Get to this show!

    by

We took our five year old grandson and his parents. We all had a magical time. The movie helps us remember the wonder, magic, playfulness, innocence, and courage we possess in childhood. We will go again and will buy the Blu-Ray when it is released.

    What a great movie...

    by cdk104

My kids loved it, I loved it and I think everyone with kids who has the spirit of annual holidays will love this movie. It has great action, a great villain and a plot that is wonderfully conceived as the Boogeyman tries to make all the great spirits of the world powerless with his terrible plan. A new spirit arises to try to save the day - Jack Frost. Jack never saw himself as a savior and struggles with the role until he is really needed. It is a heartwarming and fun tale for everyone!

    Really cute movie!

I want a Yeti and a Sandman! The characters in this story were charming and the storyline was terrific! I highly recommend this movie for any kid or adult over 5.

Boogie Man type of a Movie

    by

Thought I had done my research on this movie but I should have done more. The black character is the boogie man who kills the sandman in the beginning and haunts children in their dreams. Going to the movies is rare for our family and I didn't pay good money to watch something unpleasant!!! My daughter was horrified and we had to leave. Watching the flashbacks of the boy saving his sister and drowning was no fun either! I felt the trailer was very misleading!

    Decent Story, Family Friendly

    by

Wasn't sure what to think of this going into it, but was surprised by a decent and creative story. Me and my 9 year old son were pretty pleased with the flick.

Perfect for 'kids" of all ages...

    by

My 12-year-old son and I needed something to do for Christmas Eve, so we went to the movie. We absolutely loved it. Well made, entertaining, thoughtful, and perfect for the season. Be sure to check it out. Great movie to inspire believing in why we have these beings as part of our lives. Also makes you laugh out loud.

Loved it! Great for Adults and Children!

    by

This film is what the holidays are all about! Children, fun, heart, and love!

It's funny, dramatic, and has many great acting points!

The voices are excellent as well as the animation.... It will bring you to near tears as well as to broad smiles...

Santa with his Dual-wielding sword fighting style, the sandman with ultra sand magic, the tooth fairy who will Kill you with cuteness and the easter bunny with his boomerangs will all draw you in and make you love them...

The main Character Jack Frost is very endearing and never comes very close to becoming evil... he brings hope and gives the audience something to relate to while inspiring hope!!!

    Great film! Must see!

    Rise of the Guardians

This movie was very dark. It equated believing in Santa with preventing evil. What's up with that? I was depressed when I left the movie -- the Boogie man looked like the shooter of the school in CT. I should have taken them to see The Hobbit instead, but I was worried that The Hobbit would be too violent. I think the themes in this movie were about as dark...

    Worth while show

    by pdurgen

Very entertaining. Great computer generated special effects. If you ever have read about the power of belief this is a very inspiring example of the power of belief. I highly recommend it.
