Perfect for 'kids" of all ages...

    by

My 12-year-old son and I needed something to do for Christmas Eve, so we went to the movie. We absolutely loved it. Well made, entertaining, thoughtful, and perfect for the season. Be sure to check it out. Great movie to inspire believing in why we have these beings as part of our lives. Also makes you laugh out loud.

    Amazing movie.

I absolutely loved this movie. The animation was stunning, and the characters really come to life. I love the different takes on all our childhood heroes; it's really cool to see them all from a different perspective. The voice actors are all perfect for the characters. It's a really magical movie with a great message, and personally I think that it's perfect for all ages. I want to see it again desperately!

    Good, Funny Movie

Rise of the Guardians has an interesting and original plot. The characters have awesome personality and there is plenty of humor contained in the movie. Not sure about how I feel with portraying the Santa as a tough guy with tattoos but a softy on the inside. Still a great movie!

    Better than expected

After seeing the trailers for this movie, I didn't really want to see it, but my daughter (7) wanted to so we went. After a slow, predictable start, the movie gets a lot better. There were some really funny parts. The boogeyman is a little scary for kids (but he's supposed to be, right?). Overall, it was worth the price of admission.

    Not a Christmas movie

The sub-plot about Jack Frost was sweet but the threat/villian was not well defined; the Russian santa was a little outside the typical tradition most American children would be accustomed to re Santa Claus and I was under the missimpression that this would be at least somewhat related to Christmas which it was not. It kept my 6 year old's attention but she didnt have much to say about it - nice imagery but not very cohesive.

    Amazing

    by

First movie in years to make you believe in all good things. Love the story line and animation. Wish it wasn't so expensive to go to movies i would go see it again. Can not wait for the ble ray to get released. Must go see, Made Santa just what I believed he looks like and now at 34 years old believe all over again.

    Rise of the Guardians

All 3 grandsons were transfixed from the very beginning of this movie; (2 ten-year olds and a 6 yr). Although the basic concept may have been lost on the 6 year old, he enjoyed the outrageously beautiful artwork and fast action. Theatre was packed, volume was LOUD, but nobody left or cried! We went on opening day - earliest showtime. The children in your life will love this movie - I will buy it when it's available!

    Rise of the Guardians

    by Sodium

Such a great movie! I took my 10 year old daughter to see it last night and we both walked away having really enjoyed the movie. There are amazing spiritual themes that are great points of discussion with children about Good and Evil and ultimately a Savior. A perfect metaphor for the birth of Christ at Christmas. The characters are very loveable and real and have such heart. Great, great movie!

    Heartfelt Holiday Film

This the the type of movie that takes you back to your childhood and reminds you of the magic of the holidays. It has great characters and unfolds an enjoyable adventure. It leaves you with that wonderful warm fuzzy feeling that is like the wonder you felt on Christmas Eve hoping to get a glimpse of Santa before you fell asleep.

Charming New Look at Beloved Childhood Icons

    by Mehlsky

This movie offers a completely new take on familiar children's figures..a tattooed Russian Santa Claus; a six-feet-one, lean Australian tough guy Easter Bunny, a feathered humming bird Tooth Fairy, among others. Eye popping animation and an endearing theme of belief and self-discovery. Very young children might be frightened by some images, but anyone over the age of about 6 should enjoy the fantasy and charm of the picture. Alec Baldwin is a standout as the voice of Santa, bigger than life.

    Great family outing

    by muttnut

It's not the best kids movie out there, but it's worth a night out at the movies with the family. It's a little complicated for really young kids (like 4), but t has a nice message at the end.

    Get to this show!

We took our five year old grandson and his parents. We all had a magical time. The movie helps us remember the wonder, magic, playfulness, innocence, and courage we possess in childhood. We will go again and will buy the Blu-Ray when it is released.

A Spirited Animated Tale Destined for The Christmas Collection.

Dreamworks delivers a fine holiday choice for kids of all ages. This tale is unique and thoroughly entertaining. The characters are easily identifiable to younger children and the hero formula pays off as always. If you're looking for a great family outing, or are just a kid at heart, you simply can't go wrong here. See it. You won't be disappointed.
