Magickal movie and a must see! The story was fresh and the characters were fun and interesting - awesome movie! You don't have to be a child to go see this - I went with no kids and I recommend it to everyone of all ages!

Rise of the Guardians...A MUST SEE!!!

    by sgtshiu

You don't need to watch this movie in 3D...it's fantastic all by itself! My 4 yr old daughter and I were huddled up in the theater cheering on the good guys! We almost cried and we laughed a lot! I loved this movie!

    What a great movie...

    by cdk104

My kids loved it, I loved it and I think everyone with kids who has the spirit of annual holidays will love this movie. It has great action, a great villain and a plot that is wonderfully conceived as the Boogeyman tries to make all the great spirits of the world powerless with his terrible plan. A new spirit arises to try to save the day - Jack Frost. Jack never saw himself as a savior and struggles with the role until he is really needed. It is a heartwarming and fun tale for everyone!

    Good Family Movie!

We really enjoyed the movie. Our girls are 6 and 8, but the adult humor was entertaining too!

Rise of Guardians - Uplifting and Positive

Went with our 10-year old - and the whole family enjoyed it from the first to the last scene. Uplifting and positive at this time when even animated movies are full of senseless violence, this movie hits all the right spots. For Jack Frost, who starts as a careless and a loner, once he realises his real nature, it is simply explosion of positiveness...
    Definitely Must GO!
Good animation, not-so-ordinary characters (Santa as a Kozak?, Big-Foots?, Australian "bunny"), good story, all together make this movie may stay for a long time as a holiday and faity-tale classic... with a catch.

    Worth while show

    by pdurgen

Very entertaining. Great computer generated special effects. If you ever have read about the power of belief this is a very inspiring example of the power of belief. I highly recommend it.

This movie was absolutely terrific. It was great for children and was enjoyable for parents. To be honest I think I enjoyed it just as much as my 4 and 6 year olds. Its a great family film.

    Will make you believe again!

I've always believed in the 'spirit' of all of the Guardians. This movie reminds me why. Great fun, and a heartfelt story, it was enjoyed by everyone around me, including the parents.

    Great Holiday Movie

    by

I took my 5 year old nephew to see it last night. We both laughed silly. I loved the fact that Jack Frost was made immortal after giving up his life for his sister. Liked the fact that Santa still had his Russian accent.

    Rise of the Guardians

What a great movie! Something for kids of all ages, and adults as well. A twist on all of the "myths" we grew up with. Definitely recommend!

    Amazing Movie

    by

We saw this after the holidays in digital. It's a visually beautiful movie, and I loved the overall good defeats evil theme. I really enjoyed how they showed each character: the Easter Bunny, Jack Frost, the Tooth Fairy, Sandman, and of course Santa. The elves are adorable and hysterical. My kids, 10 and 6, both enjoyed it. I would say my 6 yo daughter was a little frightened at times, but not the point of crying or clutching. It was funnier than I expected too. We are looking forward to getting this on DVD when it comes out. I think it was really a worthwhile film, for both kids and adults.

    Decent Story, Family Friendly

    by

Wasn't sure what to think of this going into it, but was surprised by a decent and creative story. Me and my 9 year old son were pretty pleased with the flick.

    It was just okay.

So I saw this movie with my friend who is 9 like me, and three 6 year olds'.
This is the kind of movie once you leave the theater then you forget everything that happened during the movie.
I like it but Wreck-It Ralph was 100x better!
If you are looking for a movie to see with you're child, pick Wreck-It Ralph.
