    THINK ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL AUDIENCE

TWO SENIORS-- LOVED THE CHARACTERS BUT A BIT TOO MUCH ACTION FOR SUCH A CEREBRAL TYPE OF THEME
    16 YEAR OLD GUY--BAH HUMBUG
TWO 9 YEAR OLD GIRLS--"NOT THAT GREAT"

ALL IN ALL IT WAS EXECUTED WELL BUT PERHAPS TOO MUCH FOR 9 YEAR OLDS AND WAY TOO LITTLE FOR A 16 YEAR OLD

    OMG

This film was so disappointing. It had a childish trailer and movie ended being a boring load of crap. They epect you to laugh but they suck at it.

Not Just for the little ones!

You'll remember why cartoons were great as a kid & why as an adult, you have to believe in Santa, the Easter Bunny. I love the animation of this movie - you feel like you can reach out & touch it & I didn't see it in 3-D so it must be amazing to see! It was funny & sad as well as full of all the things you believe when you're small & forget when you're an adult!

    Rise of the Guardians

All 3 grandsons were transfixed from the very beginning of this movie; (2 ten-year olds and a 6 yr). Although the basic concept may have been lost on the 6 year old, he enjoyed the outrageously beautiful artwork and fast action. Theatre was packed, volume was LOUD, but nobody left or cried! We went on opening day - earliest showtime. The children in your life will love this movie - I will buy it when it's available!

    Rise of the Guardians

What a great movie! Something for kids of all ages, and adults as well. A twist on all of the "myths" we grew up with. Definitely recommend!

    Plot Hole

    by

    SPOILERS!!

Jack can't get anyone to believe in him.
At the end, Jack draws a bunny in the frost on a boy's window. The bunny comes to life and the boy can see Jack now because he believes. ...Why didn't Jack just show himself like this to everyone all the time?

Loved it! Great for Adults and Children!

    by

This film is what the holidays are all about! Children, fun, heart, and love!

It's funny, dramatic, and has many great acting points!

The voices are excellent as well as the animation.... It will bring you to near tears as well as to broad smiles...

Santa with his Dual-wielding sword fighting style, the sandman with ultra sand magic, the tooth fairy who will Kill you with cuteness and the easter bunny with his boomerangs will all draw you in and make you love them...

The main Character Jack Frost is very endearing and never comes very close to becoming evil... he brings hope and gives the audience something to relate to while inspiring hope!!!

    Great film! Must see!

    A history of the Enlightenment

Ignore AO Scott's reading of this movie. This is a film with multiple and excellent narratives: It is a history the Enlightenment, arguably told from a secular, albeit Christian-inflected perspective, and it is also an individual's coming-of-age story within the context of larger social commitments. The films asks the viewer to consider how we construct the world based on our own fears, and in doing so, suggests that the viewer look beyond historical phobias and the often self-fulfilling fears of society.

    Not a Christmas movie

The sub-plot about Jack Frost was sweet but the threat/villian was not well defined; the Russian santa was a little outside the typical tradition most American children would be accustomed to re Santa Claus and I was under the missimpression that this would be at least somewhat related to Christmas which it was not. It kept my 6 year old's attention but she didnt have much to say about it - nice imagery but not very cohesive.

    by

First movie in years to make you believe in all good things. Love the story line and animation. Wish it wasn't so expensive to go to movies i would go see it again. Can not wait for the ble ray to get released. Must go see, Made Santa just what I believed he looks like and now at 34 years old believe all over again.

    Decent Story, Family Friendly

    by

Wasn't sure what to think of this going into it, but was surprised by a decent and creative story. Me and my 9 year old son were pretty pleased with the flick.
