So funny and almost cried at one point!

This movie is by far one of the best family movies I have seen so far this year. It made me laugh so much!! I even cried in a particular part... very good story line. I love the baby, so funny!

Took my 10 and 11 year old nieces and my 77 year old Mom to the 3D movie and we all LOVED it. It is super cute, funny, has an important story for all ages. We all laughed, cried and really enjoyed it start to finish. Go see it!!!!

    Loved It!!!

I love kid films where the writers and producers don't forget to entertain the parent / grown-ups as well. I literally LOL at this movie :-D. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and so did my kids...one for the library that's for sure. Great job!!!

    Cute Movie!

Adorable movie the kids will love. Have gone to see it twice. Wouldn't be surprised if the kids talk me into going again. Kids 3, 3, (Twins) 9, and 11

    Awesome movie

MUCH better than I had expected - especially for a kid's movie. Many times when the entire audience was laughing out loud and even clapping at the end. My 11-year old and 8-year old daughters LOVED it. GO!

    Entertaining for all

    by ea1589

I personally don't watch that many children's movies. But I did like this movie because of the humor and the meaning behind it. It is a very nice story and has a lesson that we can all learn. It is good for all ages and adults like kids will have fun with this movie.

    Great movie!

    by

Really good movie about family this movie is good for children of all ages. There were a couple of slow parts where I could tell my daughters interest was being lost, but then the action returned and she was back into it. ! Will definitely be purchasing this one on DVD and super excited about all the movies we saw in the previews.

    So Imaginative!

    by

I love the creatures in this movie it is so imaginative, and one of a kind. The plot is really nice, and has a decent message for the little ones. Not gonna lie I cried and laughed and was scared.

Great visuals. However, this story line is not so original. Restless daughter wants to see the world, but over protective father wants to keep entire family in the cave. It's almost the Little Mermaid during the stone age. Along comes Guy, a teenager bursting with new ideas and inventions. of course, Dad wants to keep restless daughter away. This story has been done plenty of times. Good but not great. Wait for the dvd.

THE dumbest children's movie I have ever seen

By far the dumbest, most boring kids movie I have seen. I thought it was scary for little kids also because of the birds and the other animals that chase the family. I would not even recommend this for rent!

Your Basic Kid Flick...Nothing Special Here For Adults.

Kids 10 and below will like this. Ask the older ones before taking them, since unlike past experiences, they might find this one sub par dependent on their interests and maturity level. It's colorful, modestly action centrist with a splash of family identity thrown in for good measure. Is it worth the price of today's tickets? Perhaps. As before though, it's probably a good idea to take a poll before attending this one. You'll be glad you did.

    Good Wholesome Entertainment

I recently took my 11 year old daughter to see this movie. From the very onset, our eyes were glued to the screen. Great storyline, even better graphics, and unforgettable characters. I laughed, I cried, just a thoroughly enjoyable experience for kids and kids at heart alike!
My only regret? Not seeing it in 3D!!! =)

    Much better than I thought!

    by

I wasn't really looking forward to taking my kids to see this movie, based on the trailer, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! My 7 year old daughter, my 14 year old son, and I were each laughing out loud at times. It had beautiful imagery and strange, yet adorable, creatures throughout. I would recommend The Croods for all ages!

    The Croods

    by

We absolutely loved this movie. We missed the beginning because of traffic, but because we purchased our tickets ahead of time through Fandango, we where still able to see the movie. It was funny and entertaining for everyone. The kids loved it, we loved, and we are still talking about it two days later.

joemcadam A boy goes to heaven and returns to tell the tale. His version of heaven sounds suspiciously similar to "The Croods," a movie he just saw.
