Great animation

Great movie to see with family. Colors were spectacular and story was great as usual for a dream works film. Can't wait til it comes out on video.

Entertaining for all

I personally don't watch that many children's movies. But I did like this movie because of the humor and the meaning behind it. It is a very nice story and has a lesson that we can all learn. It is good for all ages and adults like kids will have fun with this movie.

It's ok, it seemed like it's geared towards younger kids, it had a good message in it, I wouldn't see it again, but my Son liked it a lot!

actually laughed out loud

I enjoyed this just as much as my 9 and 12 year old. The animation is gorgeous but the actions of cavemen really reminded us all how much we have evolved LOL

THE dumbest children's movie I have ever seen

By far the dumbest, most boring kids movie I have seen. I thought it was scary for little kids also because of the birds and the other animals that chase the family. I would not even recommend this for rent!

Great visuals. However, this story line is not so original. Restless daughter wants to see the world, but over protective father wants to keep entire family in the cave. It's almost the Little Mermaid during the stone age. Along comes Guy, a teenager bursting with new ideas and inventions. of course, Dad wants to keep restless daughter away. This story has been done plenty of times. Good but not great. Wait for the dvd.

The Croods is a very good movie. Its about family and cute little animals! My faorite character is the little leopard thats greenish. I like how they combine 2 animals feautures into 1 animal! I aso liked how the Croods were always trying to steal animals eggs. I think Eep was the most talented I also liked Guy. I liked all the amimals the most like the leopard, cat in the beginning, 1 tailed lemurs, Douglas, and the sloth. GREAT MOVIE!

Simple but Extremely Loveable Family story

I don't know why I feel that many "professional" movie reviewers always seem to sound quite pretentious. I mean, what makes it that a movie is "So-So" by critics, and yet a "Must Go" by everyone else? What kind of scale are the critics on anyway?

Sorry, I'm just saying that this movie is great and go see it if you like animation and a good story.

Much better than I thought!

I wasn't really looking forward to taking my kids to see this movie, based on the trailer, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! My 7 year old daughter, my 14 year old son, and I were each laughing out loud at times. It had beautiful imagery and strange, yet adorable, creatures throughout. I would recommend The Croods for all ages!

The Croods is a great movie! Great story line and plenty of funny moments! It is colorful exciting watch! This is a wonderful family film! They picked the best voice actors for the characters!

Forget the kids, watch on a Date Night

Absolutely entertaining and hilarious throughout. The cinematography is just incredible and the characters are a great mash-up. I can't wait for the stuffed animals to come out I want "Belt" and the Saber tooth tiger who is adorable for my collection. I really look forward to Part 2 and 3, if the studio has them in mind then I'm sending you a big Thank You!

Cute animation but not much of a story. The kids liked it for its action and slapstick silliness which was good, but it lacked a good old fashioned story line for sure.

The Croods was a fantastic movie that had equal entertainment draw for both children and adults. It's rare to find a movie that can work with adult themes in such a way that children do not find it preachy or boring.

Great Fun!

My entire enjoyed this movie. The voice acting was great for the each character of the movie. It';s nice to see Nickolas Cage doing more movies, and Ryan Reynolds was fantastic as Guy. This movie is a Go see for the kids as it shows ingenuity. As a dad i cried.

The movie started out a little strange, but progressed into a really great movie. I took 3 boys (age 10) with me and they loved it. I recommend this as a great family movie!
