My daughter and niece loved the movie, I thought it was cute and had a good message. If they liked it then thats all that matters.

Great for the entire family!!

Loved it!! I thought it would be a movie the kids would enjoy, I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I did. The colors were awesome and story kept getting better. My children didn't even ask to go to the restroom as they didn't want to miss any of it :)

Not for kids that scare easily

If your kids are young (4 or 5), I'd say wait till video. The characters in the move are basically running for their lives for the entire movie from various creatures who want an easy meal. It was fun and had a nice story line, but my kids were a so frightened I needed to change seats so I can reassure both of them throughout the film.

I thought it was really good!

Thankfully I did NOT listen to the critics, who basically panned this movie. It was surprisingly funny and sweet, with beautiful animation to boot. This is an awesome movie for any kid (of any age).

for grown up kids too

I was so worried that this was going to be one of those movies where they had shown all the good parts in the trailers and the rest of movie was going to suck...it wasn't. At it's most basic, it's just a great story about a family and their daily struggles, that just happens to be animated. But on top of that it's just so imaginative and funny!

Wonderful family film !!!!

I LOVE kid-friendly, good, wholesome films !! This is definitely one of them !!! I laughed and had a few little tears of joy/happiness as well. My son & I really were happy we went.

I would recommend this for all ages !!!!!!

Great Family Movie

Good movie for kids over 7-8. Much younger, it's fun, but they'll lose the message and plot. Funny movie, even though the plot is predcitable, it's done well.

We absolutely loved this movie. We missed the beginning because of traffic, but because we purchased our tickets ahead of time through Fandango, we where still able to see the movie. It was funny and entertaining for everyone. The kids loved it, we loved, and we are still talking about it two days later.

The Croods was surprisingly good. When I first saw the previews I wasnt very much interested. But it turned out to be very entertaining and had lots of funny parts. My kids ages: 6, 9, & 12 loved it and were laughing alot! some parts will make u a lil edgy though. We didnt do the 3D simply because the only showing for it was at 10:40pm- too late for my kids.. however I would've liked to watch this movie in 3D. I would recommend it. This movie had good graphics and a lot of beautiful and colorful scenes.

simple yet touching

My family and I enjoyed this movie. Yes it does not have a deep plot, but this simple story made me cry! More movies should be about family bonds and love. It is cute enough so the little kids can enjoy it. The animation is excellent for the teens and adult to appreciate it. It is original and creative. Don't listen to the critics. If you want to have a good time, go see this movie!

Good Wholesome Entertainment

I recently took my 11 year old daughter to see this movie. From the very onset, our eyes were glued to the screen. Great storyline, even better graphics, and unforgettable characters. I laughed, I cried, just a thoroughly enjoyable experience for kids and kids at heart alike!
My only regret? Not seeing it in 3D!!! =)

Awesome movie

MUCH better than I had expected - especially for a kid's movie. Many times when the entire audience was laughing out loud and even clapping at the end. My 11-year old and 8-year old daughters LOVED it. GO!
