Fun Family Movie

This movie was much better than I had anticipated. An original story with interesting characters really drives this movie. Colorful prehistoric animals add to the eye candy. My daughter (age 10) wanted to stay in the theater for another viewing. There is no higher compliment I can give.

Cute animation but not much of a story. The kids liked it for its action and slapstick silliness which was good, but it lacked a good old fashioned story line for sure.

Forget the kids, watch on a Date Night

Absolutely entertaining and hilarious throughout. The cinematography is just incredible and the characters are a great mash-up. I can't wait for the stuffed animals to come out I want "Belt" and the Saber tooth tiger who is adorable for my collection. I really look forward to Part 2 and 3, if the studio has them in mind then I'm sending you a big Thank You!

The Croods

The Croods is a very good movie. Its about family and cute little animals! My faorite character is the little leopard thats greenish. I like how they combine 2 animals feautures into 1 animal! I aso liked how the Croods were always trying to steal animals eggs. I think Eep was the most talented I also liked Guy. I liked all the amimals the most like the leopard, cat in the beginning, 1 tailed lemurs, Douglas, and the sloth. GREAT MOVIE!

Loved It!!!

I love kid films where the writers and producers don't forget to entertain the parent / grown-ups as well. I literally LOL at this movie :-D. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and so did my kids...one for the library that's for sure. Great job!!!

Not for kids that scare easily

If your kids are young (4 or 5), I'd say wait till video. The characters in the move are basically running for their lives for the entire movie from various creatures who want an easy meal. It was fun and had a nice story line, but my kids were a so frightened I needed to change seats so I can reassure both of them throughout the film.

Unexpectedly Funny

Family went to see this movie and I did not know what to expect other than a cutsie family film. By the end all four of us had belly laughed numerous times and cried. The kids could relate the characters and situations. It was very surprising and delightful.

GREAT Family movie!!

My husband and I took our 4 yr old son to watch this movie, having no expectations, and as we left we were pleasantly surprised how great of a job DreamWorks did. All around it was funny, had a good set of characters, not too scary for young kids and very entertaining for all ages. Definitely a must see movie.

We absolutely loved this movie. We missed the beginning because of traffic, but because we purchased our tickets ahead of time through Fandango, we where still able to see the movie. It was funny and entertaining for everyone. The kids loved it, we loved, and we are still talking about it two days later.

The croods was such an awesome movie! Dreamworks did it again, animation taken to a whole new level, the vibrant color, story line, everything. If you're a big animation fan, do go see this movie!

Very funny for adults and kids

The movie hits everything we laugh about as well as take serious to include over protective fathers, pain in the a$$ mother in laws, rebelling kids, letting go, and taking chances in life. It's very funny, and an all around great dreamworks pic!

Wow! I was truly surprised at this movie, it really made my day despite what had happened earlier that day. It truly cheered me up and it was worth the money. Super cute and funny imaginary animals, silly cave men, and a guy named Guy!

The Croods is a great movie! Great story line and plenty of funny moments! It is colorful exciting watch! This is a wonderful family film! They picked the best voice actors for the characters!
