    Totally absurd, totally entertaining

The movie is very absurd and really outlandish. With that being said, it's a really funny movie. Part of the charm is that the movie is constantly making fun of itself. In that way it's kind of like a Scary Movie or Hot Shots. It also has an element of Bad Boys to it. As a avid fan of the original series I can tell you that other then a couple of well done cameos it has little resemblance to the tv show that bears its name. Good to go in the theater when they are full as the audience gets into it and it adds to the experience.

    surprisingly really funny

For people who dislike slap stick or any movie with (for instance) Adam Sandler, we really enjoyed this. I laughed out loud throughout the movie. I can't figure out why this works, it could have been just silly and terrible, but it was really fun and actually had some action. I think it may be because of the casting- all the actors seemed really comfortable and natural in the roles and there was a great synergy between the 2 main characters. go see it.

    21 Jump Street

    by

Loved every minute of it. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill make for an excellent team and their chemistry was sizzling. Hilarous all the way through, I could not stop laughing and the action was non stop, this kept me glued to my seat the whole time. The plot was very well written and acted and I guess somewhat relatable. I noticed that at this showing I was at the crowd was a mix of young and old and fans of the show, so this movie is for anyone, but don't take my word for it, see it for yourselves.

VERY Funny, Sweet, and a Tad Raunchy

I watched "21 Jump Street" back in the day, and I loved it. I loved Peter Deluise and Johnny Depp together. I knew this wasn't a remake of the show, but I wanted to see it anyway. I took my 15yo this afternoon, and we enjoyed it immensely. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill are terrific together. I could have done with less F bombs but whatever. There are odes to the original " 21 Jump Street" in various places. It was fantastic to see Johnny Depp and Peter Deluise make a cameo together. I loved that the show was playing on the TV at the hotel in the background, and also that there was a Hoffs cameo. It's a well done movie, pretty funny, and I can't wait to take my husband to see it when he returns from his field exercise. Normally not my genre of movie, but I laughed my butt off, as did the audience.

    Pleasantly surprised!

Solid comedy that is funny all the way through. I've never seen the original 21 Jump Street eps, but you certainly don't need to in order to get the jokes. Great film!

Some genuine humor... Lots of slapstick

3 out of 4 of us laughed some, one laughed all the way thru the movie. If you like well-done outrageous humor, this is the movie for you.

Acting was very good and it moved along. Nice surprise at the end.

    This Movie Was Amazing

Jonah Hill and Channing are great together! Not only are they funny, but the roles they play correlate with the type of person they are! Do not go with your parents, a lot of crude ****!

Overall, hilarious and I would probably see it again!

    21 Jump St

The movie was funny, but not as funny as some said. Some compared this movie to Superbad and it was no where near that funny. It was so-so. I would wait for it to come out on red-box.

    21 Jump Street

With blond hair extensions, torpedoed jeans, six inch platform sandals, and enough makeup to make Cleopatra or Lady Gaga wince with envy, I unsuccessfully tried to blend with the young, lustful banshees at a screening of "21 Jump Street". Naively unaware that it had been a television series, starring Johnny Depp...This movie will appeal massively to the multitudes of twenty and thirty- year- olds; those who loved "The 40 Year Old Virgin", "Hangover", "Knocked Up"; films I left or chose not to see...The performances of Hill and Tatum resonate with perfect comedic pitch, compelling chemistry, even genuine, convincing sincerity. A lesson in how ephemeral are the rules of "cool"; surprisingly, maturity springs from unlikely fountains at implausible moments.

    TWO & 1/2 STARS!!

    Very crass--and extremely funny

I had a great time at this movie. Full of energy, the two leads had great chemistry, and it was very entertaining. Much funnier than I expected it to be.
