We LOVED it!

We took our 7 yo daughter, who freaked out at Brave and at the end of Tangled, and she loved the entire movie! There was lots of laughter, not too many "teachable moments" (thank goodness - enough already with those when we just want to laugh and have fun), and lots of good clean fun. Absolutely go if you think the previews look funny as you'll probably like it. Absolutely don't go if you don't like funny for the sake of funny because there aren't too many lessons to be learned here. I guess with the exception of love your fellow man and monster.

Surprisingly good and entertaining

I took my goddaughter to see this movie and was dreading it because animated movies are not favorites. However, this movie was funny and entertaining. The music was cool and it actually kept me awake the entire time. :-)

your dumb if u dont like this movie and if u didnt see it and writing bad things about it well then you a hater i liked the movie and so did my family so if i had to say something it would be to go and if i could rate it in numbers it would be 10000 points of rate and i think any age would like this so cheak it out.

Great movie!

So good! The animation was great, the dialog was funny - kids were laughing, but there were jokes to keep the adults amused as well - and the story was really sweet.

Awesome movie!!!

My wife and I took my 8 year old daughter to see this and we ALL laughed the entire time. There are so many funny characters that aren't even mentioned in the trailers. You really need to see it and take it all in to appreciate it. Great movie...great fun...you won't regret seeing this one I assure you. Go see it!

First movie all 3 of my kids stayed up throughout. We haven't watched too many movies in the theatres as they are still only 3,6,&7 yrs old but the few we have, at least one of them fell asleep during it. This time, no one fell asleep. There were occasional giggles throughout & laughter at times. The hour and a half length is perfect. I think the two hrs. movies are too long. This one is just perfect in timing & with its storyline. It keeps the kids entertained to the end.

Great Movie!

We went to see Hotel Transylvania with our two-year-old. We, all three, loved it! It captured our little guys attention and held it for the entire movie... RECOMMEND!

Great movie

While billed as more of a kid-flick, my wife and I went to see it ourselves and enjoyed it immensely. The 'adult' humour was subtle enough that the too young kids won't catch it, and the story was something that both kids and parents can relate too. I'd strongly recommend it for any parents of teens as well. Great job!!

Great kid's Halloween Movie!!!

I took my five year old son to go see this movie, we laughed. It was so nice to see a great Halloween movie for kids. Definitely a must see!!!!!!

A fun family movie

This is one of those animated features that will definitely be more satisfying for elementary aged kids. My 8 year old daughter and 5 year old son loved this movie. They both laughed out loud many times. For me it was OK. It was more a series of gags than a well integrated story. But even though the characters were rather two-dimensional, there were a couple of nice moments. I smiled a lot and even laughed a couple of times. It was certainly a lot less painful than some of the animated features my kids want to see. So if you are a parent, I think it is worth taking your kids.

AWESOME

Fantastic movie with a great lesson. Will purchase when it comes out on DVD. My 7 year old son loved it as well as myself... a 34 year old mom. Would go see it again. Great!!

Great kids movie with some adult fun

Hotel Transylvania was a really cute movie. I took my little 7yr old girl to go see it and she loved it, and thought it was really funny. I have to admit... I thought it was pretty funny as well. Sandler does a pretty good job as the count, though I was hoping to see a bit more of his different acts come out in it. Overall it was a really enjoyable film, and I plan to buy it on blu-ray when it releases.

See Frankenweenie instead!

This movie dragged all the way through. Where's the comedy? Scenes dragged and seemed like forever for the story t begin. the build up to the stroyline didn't make sense. you can tell this movie was whipped up just for the halloween season, hoping to be a hit at the box office. Storyline was all over the place. Lobby scene was way too long. Adam Sandler's impression sounds more like a grandmother from Jersey. Save your money.. Wait for the video release for $1.00.
