So Cute

My 6 year old loved it and my husband and I thought it was hilarious. It's a kid's movie but there's quite a few jokes in there that only the adults would understand (but they aren't "adult jokes"). Loved it!

Hotel transylvania, must see it you'll love it

I saw this movie the same day it came out, time went fast and I wanted more. it was funny, my daughter laugh so much, it was a great family movie.

Great!

I saw this movie and the characters were all great and it had a wonderful plot and storyline.
this is one of the best movies i had seen in awhile and when i saw it (I love horror movies so bear with me) I was like okay my mom wanted me to go see this movie with my little brothers who are both 6. and i am like hey maybe this will get them interested in scary movies like "Sinister"
so we saw it and i was actually very surprised at how good it was. Dracula makes a scary face but your child can probably handle it; but it may make you jump for a second.

Good flick - entertaining for kids; good message for parents. Hate to say it but I think the message in the story line was more geared for parents than the kids. It kept my 10 year-old daughter entertained the whole time, she thought the movie was only ten minutes long when it was nearer two hours.

simple humor~giggles

This was a cute movie. Typical Adam Sandler humor. Some content more pg-13 but I do not think little kids would get it anyway. Fun night that makes you laugh.

Fun Movie to start the Halloween season!!

I love the fact that this movie had so many name actors/actresses doing the voices. Adam Sandler, Steve Buscemi, Andy Sandberg, Selena Gomez, Fran Drescher just to name a few. The movie is funny, witty and endearing. My 6 year old loved it too!

Good Monster Movie for kids

Adam Sandler heads a great cast of voice acting as Hotel owner and loving father Count Dracula. He only wants what's best for his daughter Mavis on her 118th birthday. That includes keeping her far away from humans. But Andy Samberg plays Jonathan, the only human to ever visit the hotel. Mavis and Jonathan fall for each other immediately, and Daddy Dracula spends the whole time trying to keep them apart. Firstly, the characters were fun to look at and listen to. All of the classic monsters had screen time that engaged kids. But I don't think adults will get the same enjoyment, though there were plenty of moments that I laughed at. The story was pretty simple, but there were a couple touching scenes also, especially one with Dracula looking back at his past. GEEK SOUL BROTHER says GO with your little ones, but don't look for anything original. Great monster movie for little kids. I give it 3.5 COSMIC AFROS. Completely disappointed, especially with the strong cast of characters. For a children's movie, the plot and flow of the movie was ridiculous...painful to watch at times.

Good for kids, parents will enjoy

I wasn't looking forward to this movie for myself, I thought it was going to be too juvenile for me to enjoy, but my kids were looking forward to it. I actually found myself enjoying it myself, getting into the plot a bit, and dancing in my seat to the music at some points. I won't be all jumping up and down for it on DVD for myself, but I'll be getting it for my kids for sure, and I'll enjoy sitting down to watch it with them again without feeling the need to leave the room every ten minutes!!

This was a very awesome movie, I would think a father and daughter should see this together. It was funny. My grandson wanted to see this movie and when he wants to see something it is usually good.I don't go to movies very often but the ones my grandson picks are totally very good. Thats all I got to say, if I had the money I would see it 10 times or more. Totally awesome. I'm not much for words sorry. Roberta

Family friendly

Finally a funny family friendly movie. The last few "kids movies" have been too adult themed and dark. This was very funny and we all enjoyed it.

Monster silliness

If you enjoyed the Lorax, you will see similar animation style and technique here. The plot was cute and timeless. The view of vampires and other monsters is a refreshing change from all the romantic vampire angst that Twilight has subjected everyone to.

The music was fun and lively. The colors and backgrounds were quite lovely and engaging. Some great, classic comedy gags. The voices were great! Be sure to look for the fleas,

Letting Go

This movie was great for the whole family-Letting Go. The family plot was excellent. The family dynamics in the movie was awesome as well. Colors, Voices, action was great. Definitely a buyer when released to DVD. Did not see the movie in 3D, only 2D and it was still great. Would see it again.

fun but definately better for the kids than adults

I loved the animation, characters and the story line, though I have to say, I was slightly disappointed with the dialogue and humor, which was geared much more toward children than expected. I am a pixar fan, and always enjoyed a great pixar movie for the combination of adult humor and children stories, making it very entertaining for both adults and children.

All in all it was good, just make sure you take your kids, not your friend or wife.
