Cute

Took the family to see it, and we enjoyed it. I thought it was sneaky how they slipped in the line about being accepted and "coming out," but otherwise the movie was pretty funny. It was like a Saturday Night Live reunion(Sandler, Spade, Lovitz) on the big screen.

Awsome movie

Hotel Transylvania I just saw with my girlfriend today and her and I loved the humor and the storyline of the movie if I wereto rate it I'd rate it a 9 out of 10

Perfect for Kids

My Child is at a hard age for movie enjoyment. I wont take her to see PG-13 yet and "kid" movies are made for age 6 or so. Hotel was just right for age 10. She truly enjoyed the silliness of it and the romance. As an adult I was just happy with it. Not the best movie out there, but I was tankful for it. It is not wildly entertaining, it has dull moments. It also has good humor and nice artistry.

Loved It!

Hotel Transylvania was one of the cutest kids movies I've seen! My seven year old daughter absolutely loved it. At the end she said she already wanted to watch it again.:)

A very good and original movie for Halloween or anytime. A great story that was sweet and funny. It just proves that writers can take old characters and make them new. A descent story for the whole family. Adults and kids alike will enjoy this film.

Hotel Transylvania

This was a great family movie, as parents we enjoyed spending time with our kids but also had a great time watching a movie at an actual theater. We took our 7 old little girl, our 13 old son and we also brought our 17 niece and our son's girlfriend. We all had a wonderful time, so I would highly recommend this for family fun night.

Worth your time, and bring the kids.

Genndy Tartakovsky is a wonderful director. Having to wrangle all the folks he did for this film must have been difficult, since it seems there were many cooks in the kitchen. That said, it's a fun ride, and hits all the right notes. Fans of Samurai Jack and The Power Puff Girls will recognize the emphasis on emotional content he brings to all his work. Gets a little silly at the end, but the kids in the audience I was in just loved it. 7/10.

Great Movie!

We went to see Hotel Transylvania with our two-year-old. We, all three, loved it! It captured our little guys attention and held it for the entire movie... RECOMMEND!

Awesome family movie!

My husband and I were celebrating our 20 wedding anniversary with our two children - 11 and 15 year old girls - we wanted a movie we could all enjoy. This was it! It was very funny and really had that underlining worried parent vs. young independent child thing going on too. We laughed for most of the movie. It also was an interesting twist with all the "monsters" together at a hotel and watching how they all got along with each other. Funny, funny, funny . . .

Family friendly

Finally a funny family friendly movie. The last few "kids movies" have been too adult themed and dark. This was very funny and we all enjoyed it.

Great animated move for all ages.

I went to see this because my Mom wanted to see it and I had seen the commercials and I didn't expect it to be as funny and as good as it looked! It has many memorable moments and slapstick humor that I love, and it is very entertaining for fans of Dracula and all the Universal Monsters.

The trailer was very funny, but that seemed to have been the funniest parts, other than that they seemed to focus on all the weird looking creatures so I only rated it so so, I could have waited for this to come out on DVD but had to use up an expiring ticket.

We really enjoyed it!

I took my 7yo daughter and she really liked it. Funny though - more adults were laughing than the kids as quite a bit of the humor was more geared toward the adults with references to old cartoons and TV series. I can't wait to have this in my collection.

My fiance and I fell asleep. The ending was great. It was not very interesting. It was really fast paced, and the humorous side did not get the time it deserved, adn it was passed by.
