Kids will love it, adults will laugh.

It's a fun movie and my daughter loved it. Lots of good monsters and music. Funny for adults too - but the plot is a little tired, some of the storyline is formulaic. But it's a good family film - and mindless fun!

A MUST SEE!!!!

All three of my children and my husband and I LOVED Hotel Transylvania.
Such a FUN movie. And something for everyone, even us parents! Usually my kids always have a part of movies they find boring and become distracted. This is the FIRST movie they didn't say anything and most of the movie sat there with thier mouths open in a***..
We are going back to see it in 3D next week!

Not what i expected (in a good way)

me and my friends went to go see this movie and we had so much fun that we wanted too see it over and over again. I truly believe this is a good movie

We love Dracula

I went to this movie with my kids just because they could not go alone. I did not expect much, but I was so very wrong. The story was a sweet take on themes of young love and a parents need to let a child grow up. My daughter says this is her favorite new movie and the best one she has seen this year in the animated catagory. My son wants to go again to see it tonight. High praise from all of us. We watched the 2d version.

Hotel Transylvania...trailers were the best part of the movie

I'm a big fan of anything Adam Sandler...even though he's had his share of flops; however I'm a huge fan of anything spooky and I was really looking forward to taking the family to this film. It wasn't that the film was bad, it just wasn't good.

The punch lines and comedic talents I expect from Adam Sandler, Kevin James and Steven Buscemi...well, they just weren't there. I was desperately hoping for something humorous, but nothing came. Even the audience was quiet at the moments you were 'supposed' to laugh.

It had potential. Truly too bad.

It was a good movie for kids and as well for adults. At times it got boring for the adults. But perfect for children under 10, as well as up to teen years(early.) I would recommend this for the whole family.

It's delightful

Hotel Transylvania is a great family film. Even as an adult, I enjoyed it. It's not a must see, but it's a wonderful way to spend a an hour and a half on a weekend afternoon.

Not so funny!

My family and I went to see this movie last night and it was funny but not. It was a bit drawn. The story line was not funny. This would have been better as a sitcom on tv then a movie. I wish there was more 3D. One point I took my 3D Specs off and I can see the characters without the blur. In my opinion wait until it comes out on DVD.

I myself and the 3 boys I took to see it, ages 10-12 all loved it. Really clever, sweet, and funny, with a nice moral about judging people unfairly. I definitely recommend it, and you won't be sorry you went.

Kids and I had fun!

My children are young (3 & 5) so I was concerned that this movie would be too scary or the humor would be too rude for them. I'm glad I took the chance as it turned out to be a super cute movie! The music was great, the characters were hilarious and not scary at all. My kids loved it and want to see it again. I would buy it for sure. Adam Sandler was awesome as Count Dracula and a loving father. I think the professional critics read too much into this film. If you want a fun movie for the whole family.... I recommend this one!

Cute movie with a contemporary twist.

I thought the movie was cute and entertaining. The story typical. However having the spooky cast of characters makes it different and fun. I thought the Adam Sandberg character carazmatic and loveable. My 3 yr old niece loved it and I wasn't dying of bordom. So that's a plus, because in the end that's what it's all about.

Good movie

It was a decent movie, the plot was OK and my 8 year old son had a couple of good laughs as well as my wife. I'll give it 5 points out of 10.
