    This list has one major flaw... did the writer forget about Urban Cowboy? This movie had a cultural effect similar to SNF but to a lesser degree. Mechanical bull riding, country music, and pickup trucks all rose in popularity in the wake of this movie--it showed that you didn't have to raise livestock nor plow 40 acres to embrace the lifestyle...
