Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan foray into the cop comedy genre with Cop Out, and we decided it's as good a time as any to take a look back at the classics. The formula's been used dozens of times before – an unlikely pairing of cops overcome their differences to bring a criminal to justice, with antics ensuing over race relations, larger-than-life action scenes and the like. Oh let's see. I wonder if Peter Sellers in The Pink Panther should have been included? WC Fields as The Bank ****? Peter Falk in The In Laws? Cary Grant in several Hitchcock movies? Nah, Sylvester Stallone's brilliant comedic timing has them beat. Was there a cap on how far back this was going? Beverly Hills Cop is probably the only one listed that belongs there.
Peter Sellers?

I remember watching Running Scared and laughing my *** off... Best Gregory Hines and Billy Crystal ever did. Funny things like Billy Crystal impersonating his captain... 'One guy..? One guy..?, You're giving millions of dollars of evidence to One guy...? Where's his ******* partner" I can't believe you missed all 6 shots? Are you kidding me? I shot the windshield with all six shots... And Joe Pantoliano as Snake was great...
